i know this is a long-shot but Dan should not be in the game unless they make in good , it really was useless that they put in a character that is much worse than any other character? either make him a good character or just have someone else in the game (Oro maybe?)

That doesn’t really make any sense when you consider the fact that someone is always going to be a “worst character in the game”. And how can you say Dan is “useless” when there are actually quite a few of us that not only main Dan, but are consistently kicking the asses of so many unsuspecting G1 players.
Just going to say, it sounds really conceited to suggest they remove a character that’s already finished, debugged, balanced and working in the game, in favour of the character in your avatar. :nono:
Give dan a counter attack like gouken, but it ends with “Put your back into it”.
- His EX Gale Kick feels alot more like a KOF/AOF Gail Kick. Improve the final hit so it creates a juggle state like in some KOF games. Juggle into Koryuken or Gadouken pr Super or Ultra
- Air Gadouken (fireball) (Still with no reach)
- Super 2 ; Shinkuu Gadouken Ultra 2 ; Large fireball ala Ryo/Robert etc. Single hit, so can be FA through it, and fireballs absorb it. Only 75 screen reach. Make it Sethish in that the Super does more than the Ultra. What you have is a huge impressive fireball bigger than anyone elses which loses to a sonic boom. Very Dan.
Would be really cool if he could Hop like in KoF as well. With a character like Viper getting Super Jump, this isn’t to much to ask.
Maybe a sidestep like Sim, where he sways sideways and taunts.
I think the ultra taunt should baically be like his super but instead of ton of punches and kicks…tons of taunts
More specials and normals and stuff like ex dan kicks, where he taunts at the end!

Shinkuu Gadouken. Should be the same as normal gadouken ascetically but like Ryu’s shinkuu hadouken gameplay wise.
Dan should get some over heads. Maybe like a headbutt or a karate chop or something equally amusing.

Air super taunt that sends dan flying, and dan can do this out of anything, including hitstun! This could be used to avoid a life threataning ultra set up.
More taunts. Maybe input taunts? Haha.
They can have so much fun with Dan and still make him good.
I am 100% behind this tread. He needs a buff.NO fighter in this game should suck. I would like every fighter to be able to hold his own and fight just as well as the next even though it is not likely to happen. Dan is the only character in the game to have a 3-7 matchup, which is a lot better than the SF3S since the Sean has a 1-9 match up. I have been playing Tekken for a while, and I think that in one aspect Tekken has over Street Fighter is that every character is great in their own way. I dont fel like their are a lot of character thumps. But in Street Fighter there are. I think that plays into the fact that Tekken has sold more in the U.S. than Street Fighter. Stop with the bullshit, make Dan be able to hang with he best, period.
Off topic but i think its cuz the average person can pick eddie gordo and mash buttons and look decent doing it
But fighting with real players that shit doesnt work. That mashing stuff in Tekken will get you no where, if your fighting someone really good at the game.
Back to topic, stop with the taking Dan out stuff. He is not all that bad. Look at the bright side he aint Sean.

What about reducing the start-up frames on his Ultra when it is done during a Legendary Taunt? I don’t use it often enough to know if that would even make a difference…

I think his HK Air Dan Kicks should… eh… glide a little more effectively, if anyone knows what I mean, they just don’t seem to be all that effective in the air, aside from is LK Air Dan Kick.
They could use a bit more “vacuum” for sure. I hate getting just one of three hits to connect.
They need to remove some of the startup and a LOT recovery on landing, plain and simple. Right now, MK and HK Air Danku are suicide on block, and come out too slow to act as an Air-to-Air.

a short hop [and long hop during run maybe]
taunt with purpose
-to build Dan’s super meter
-to deplete enemy super meter when Dan’s is full
-to evade [using roll taunts and wall jumping using air.taunts]
-to bait [let ex.specials cancel roll taunts]
random bonus [like buff KRK invincibility to Ryu SRK lvl] for all specials.
-lp/lk specials get a bonus on every 3rd action.
-mp/mk specials get a bonus on every 4th action.
-hp/hk specials get a bonus on every 5th action.
-ex.specials get a bonus when either input used gets one.
-ex.specials get a big bonus when both inputs used gets one.
