Teacher was in inverted commas for a reason. She DID actually learn the saikyo arts, so technically he is her teacher, but she never uses them. Same thing with Blanka. First of all, Dan is Sakura’s master, yes. But canonically, Sakura is supposed to be a tad stronger than him (only because she’s serious in her training). And guess what ? This is old news. Back in the Alpha series, it was already like that.

Thirdly, Blanka isn’t Charlie. This part of the story was in the movie. The movie sucks (even though it’s hilarious) and isn’t canon. Blanka is NOT Charlie. His true name is Jimmy. When he was 5, he survived a plane crash. He then lived into the jungle, turning green and resembling a beast because he had to adapt in order to survive. His nickname comes from inhabitants of a nearby village, who saw Jimmy live in the jungle when he was still a child, and because of his white skin (before turning green), they called him Blanka. During the Street Fighter Alpha series, it’s said that Blanka and Dan knew each other already, and that Blanka saved Dan’s life.
