Im working on a corner combo with Danny boy.

cr.j, cr.hp, lp,lk,lp,lk, hp, landing, hp, cr.hp, then grab when they come back down. After you grab them (the hk one where he knocks them upwards), jump in and grab em’ again!!! Or, assist with anti-air (like Cyclops Psylocke ,etc.) AND REPEAT THE WHOLE COMBO AGAIN!!! YEEE-HAAAA!!!

Have you ever heard of the Evolution tournament that the person that runs this website runs? It’s a tournament where the best in the world compete. I got 13th (which I’m not even impressed with) out of about 215 people. I’m just saying…

Blackheart doesn’t just spam demons at the top of the screen. That’s what SCRUBBY BHs do (which would explain why you thought that). He’s got so much more (maybe you should watch the tutorial).

Finally, I play EVERYONE. You could put together a team for me and I’m sure I’d beat you with it regardless of who you’re using. That is, unless you’d go against your own words and start being cheap by using assist and whatever other nonsense you were talking about.

But thats not a true fighter. Foaming at the mouth when you see someone giving advise, is the lowest, gayest way to get better at Mvc2. Which is why top players win? But they practice, and work on their combos, not getting babysat.

…Idiot. Not only do good players practice to get better, but they take the advise of other (better) players as well and learn how to use that to their advantage. Take a lot of the top players of today and I’m positive that they were given or sought advice on how to better their game, especially when they first started. I don’t think many people (if any) can just jump on this game and be a top player. There is nothing wrong with reading forums to improve your game, so I fail to see how this is the ‘gayest’ way to get better at MVC2.

So, dont try to speak for them, cause youre not the same as the HARDWORKING (I mean actually hardworking, not getting tips, then calling yourself hardworking)gamers. Yeah, didnt like that too much, huh?

…Explain hardworking. Am a top tournament player at this game? No. So, does that mean I’m not as ‘hardworking’ as other players? No-it just means that I do not choose to play on the tournament scene. While I do look to improve my game everytime I play, I am just a casual player. Ask anyone on here who knows me about my marvel game and they’ll probably talk about my low tier knowledge and my understand of every single character. And maybe other stuff. However, did I find all this on my own by just practicing. No. I read, I learned new things that other people learned. And I used that knowledge to help learn different things and to get better.

Who cares if hes made a name for himself? Do you think a real gamer would be intimidated by someone who has a lot of exp? NO, they play, they either win or lose, then learn from the exp. Not getting all choked up, because they played one of the best.

I call players like that “Highschool” gamers, cause they let the atmosphere and peer pressure get them nervous. And as far as playing yas, tell me who youd play with first, then I’ll consider battling ya.

…Who would I play with? We’ll considering you said ‘i’ll consider battling ya’ it probably means you dont have a lot of confidence in your game. I guess if I said some god/top tier characters or teams, you’d decline because you’d think I’m cheating. And honestly, I’m a low/mid tier character player and using tops to beat a scrub like would just be over kill. So, I’d probably use my current main and play: Colossus AAA/Thanos Capture/Sonson AAA

You may be one of those “Talk a good game, but then play all cheap” type of gamers. Ive played peps like that, who you couldnt tell thats how they played. I dont have Mvc2 online, I have it on Ps2. Working on combos everyday, becoming a deadly threat with my Mags/Sent/Storms.

Working on Ken cross-ups, Thanos’ knee cross-ups. Working Sent aerial corner guard-breaks, yeah…Im far from a rookie, not even close.

…Yeah, cuz Ken’s crossup = top level play.

But what I dont know, is how so many people can seem so good, with all their advise, but you can see leaks in their game (as far as combo ability, defense like KUNG-FU, and patience). Yeah, Im influenced by Kung-Fu with Mvc2. Watch some Kung-Fu flicks, and then carry that type of defensive/offensive style to Mvc2, you’ll be suprised at how your character has gotten quicker in those categories.

Get back to the Higher Dan talk.
I often play dan/capcom/tron aka team pink.
I have done this set up one but havent perfected it yet. call tron as you jump, hp throw close to the ground. Dan will slam the opponent into tron rings.They usually get knocked to the opposite direction that dan slams them. and then do otoko michi aka raging moron for a instant grab. It looks inescapable but it may have been a fluke

EDIT : it is escapeable and they recover immediately , but c.lk+tron, c.lk, OM may work as a trap in the corner

Oh my gosh that sounds hot!
Try replacing capcom with psylocke. You can call psylocke and RH grab and combo after wards. Perfect set up for repeated KR supers and whatnot.

I don’t have online either, I play on the ps2 tranning untill the day come that i’m able to fight abroad, can you ROM infinite on a ps2 controller? I swear it’s impossible. They Best I can manage is high speed, 1-2,-3 hit combinations, then reset with the assit.
