He’s my roommate, which also makes him a loser, we talk shit all the time
With that being said, what arthur’s getting at is this : There’s a lot of new players at the orange bar gatherings, and the best thing to do when you’re new is to just try to improve and learn the games your playing. There’s not point in trying to get on the front page SRK because 1) The quality of play at orange bar is bad (i’m a part of that, so I have no problem saying it) compared to what you should be seeing on a frontpage stream and 2) Neither the people, nor the gathering are representative of the established fighting game community in DFW.
Now don’t get me wrong at all, I’m not blasting OBF, nor the people there in the least, the ONLY thing I’m stating is why the stream pursuit/commentary/front page/etc. is not in our best interest at this juncture, as it would essentially accomplish nothing except for damaging the community reputation for when we ARE ready to take that step. For now, to all the new players, learn the games that you enjoy playing, meet people that are in your area, and ALWAYS feel free to reach out to other people for advice in your game. Regardless of what all the new bloods view on arthur is at the moment, I can tell you right now if yall met in person, you’d be getting along just fine and he’d have no problem at all helping you out in your game.
I love hanging out, playing games, and drinking on saturday nights. The stream is enjoyable for the local peeps that wanna tune in, or anyone else that we inform of it, so I say we keep having a blast
Why is your explanation so sexy adnan!!!, and yes, this is a question with exclamation mark.

We could do it…but I think we should focus on getting Saturday running as smooth as possible before we pread out to Wednesdays as well.
What does everyone else think? It would not be hard to do it, but I don’t think people will have the same amount of time that they do on a Saturday night.
In my personal opinion, I would have to agree with you about solidifying Saturdays for OBF before moving it to Wednesday. I think that it works better for people because there’s more time to game and you don’t have to worry about working the next day (in most cases). Once Saturday gets solidified, we can then move to Wednesdays. But I think it should be one day at a time. This is a new venture and we don’t want to run too far off and not be organized in the process, that leaves plenty room for failure and I for one want this to be a big success.
As far as far as the streaming thing is concerned, I think we should try to start a donation pot for players who want to contribute. It wouldn’t be something mandatory, but it gives the option to players if they choose too. I think, ultimately, majority of the funds will be coming out of your pockets, but any help is always appreciated. It’s just an idea, I think it’s the way some of the other mid-level to major streamers go anyways.
But there’s my two cents. And are we have a OBF this Saturday?
OBF is on for this Saturday
DALLAS, cmon now Bit Wars is this weekend and it’s only 2 hours away in Norman, come on lol.
I’d love to see people come out for Super Bit Wars!
The founder of this tournament, Solidus aka Forrest Sharp died on July 3rd in a car accident. This tournament is being ran in his memorial so i hope to see a good crowd.

The donation would actually be great, because it would give us a way to get the shit to stream when Jeff is not there, just thinking?
As far as Saturday goes, Kris is correct…we will be there. I mean, I have an MVC2 challenge…for shots…how else should we ettle that?
