Awesome. I need to go and check out the equipment over there. They have a shitload of TVs and a projector, but I have to see where we can plug stuff in at and if there is any lag or whatnot.
I will say that getting games going on the projector would be sweet.

Orange bar sounds great then we would have friday’s at jeff’s place, bi monthly bar for bar fights, and and orange bar we could actually have a really good sf4 scene with all that.
Orange bar sounds cool, they gonna have the right monitors or is it gonna be laggy stuff? Laggy monitors would kill it. If we could bring our own (asus) that would be better than having to play on bad tv’s.
Also would they have drink specials on a saturday? Fighting game players are broke yo.

As for the monitors, I really need to test them and see what the best course of action is there. They have a lot of screens, plus this huge projector, but I am not sure what the lag is on those things…Jeff said he would help me with equipment, but if any of you guys can give me input as to what are the MUSTS that we need to have to make this great, please let me know.
I just know getting some matches on that big screen would be hype as hell. I know the owner wants people who wander in to view this as an event.
As for drink specials, yeah, they have a ton of those, but I am pretty sure that Saturday night is $3 you call it drinks (so Crown and cokes are $3 and so on and so forth) but my favorite is the $12 beers towers of Coors or Miller (120 oz in a big ass cylinder). Also, 12 AM - 2 AM is half off Sushi. This bar is in my apartment building, so I am, sadly, very acquainted with all their specials and staff lol.

I am trying to get it going for this Saturday night, but I don’t want to half ass it. I will let you guys know this week if we should do it this Saturday or next, the time, and all that jazz…I just want us to have enough time to do this right.
I am going to bring my PS3 and copies of AE, MK (which will be updated to Rain), & MVC3. I have Blazblue CC but it is not updated to CCII nor does it have the DLC Characters. I will also bring down my custom Sanwa HRAP3 and TE. I have 2 pads as well if we need those.

Badass, yea should be the week after to get people hype for it dude. Word of mouth, I’ll tell everyone i know, and plus on here it’ll get known.
Truth. I know for a fact that if we do this right we have a weekly spot to have some good games, drinks, and all that stuff. I would also like a little time to make a flyer and a little trailer for it.
I know we could probably stream it as well.

i think if you can make a trailer for it and get it streaming w/ commentating we could get that place really hype. Now is only we had ppl who were really good at commentating. I would but i really dont know the game well enough to do it.
Sounds pretty awesome, but I’m a little hesitant to feel any sort of optimism towards the whole idea. Not to say that in spite of you, but I just have one of those “I’ll believe it when I see it” feelings in my gut.
That being said, take all the time you need to iron out all the details. If it works out I’ll definitely be there for opening night.
