Got a question for everybody. There is a ebgames that has the TE stick for 110. Is it worth the pick up or can a pad player get just as far? Also what kind of quality are the madcatz fightpads is it decent or just stick with ps3 pad?
any version of any controller can be viable. If youre playing a more technical game then itll be slightly more challenging to get started when using pad, but in the end itās the same thing.
Get the stick. Youāll have 5 fingers to work 6 buttons and enough space to where you donāt get in your own way doing so.
I guess one of my main things is if i get a ps3 stick i still then have to pay around another 100 just to get it dual modded.
IMO, get an Xbox stick if youāre going to dual mod. I hear that it is easier to go Xbox->PS3 than PS3->Xbox.
but i have a ps3 and money is a little tight right now so i couldnāt afford to get it dual modded right away so if i got the 360 one i couldnāt practice at all till it is modded. Its just really a question of can you play on pad just as good as on stick. And try not to be biased in the answer.
Itās down to just self preference. If you love pad so much, just play pad. Some things with certain characters in certain games are easier to perform on stick, but the same could also be said about pad.
Also, sticks make you more manly. So consider that as well.
Iām also having a tough time finding ppl to play in denton or dallas. In fact I never played offline. I currently live in garland. During the school year I go to UNT as well. But for the summer Iām in garland. Message me if u know any gatherings or if ur holding any game nights. Can get pretty stressful playing online.
I donāt use fb so ya know. But I want to get some games on. When is the next game night ur having? I just want to see how it is. I donāt live in denton anymore but iāll try to make it there.

What characters do you play?
Speaking of characters there were like 3 cody players at bar fights joe that you missed out on bodying.
Well if ur talking about marvel then Iām playing maggy (Just picked him up and gotta say his rom, grav loops are fun to do, just mindless combos), Shehulk, dante (donāt play him anymore bc lag prevents me from being stylish), ammy, sentinel, maybe wesker, akuma, wolvy (I donāt tier whore, Idk why ppl think hes the best, been using him since the beginning), Maybe some doom, Dark phoenix (yeah I donāt really know how to play her but Iām confident my defense will help her live).
In SSF4 I play honda, maybe abel, dhalsim, ryu, balrog, dan, guile, sagat I donāt really play this game anymore nor do I like playing AE because of the changes is less footzies and fireball oriented. I really suck at this game since my attention went to mvc and mk came out.
MK9 I now just play Cage. Some reason I think he is the best character in the game. Nutpunch reset is the best and get off me flash kick. I just picked up kabal. I play subby, smoke, raiden, scorpion, shang tsung, kung lao,
I can go on about the chars I use but I donāt really hav mains. I have to admit though I really suck at these games. I donāt really understand these games. Iām the type of person that skipped the basics and go straight to online and learn on the way.
