EVO MOMENT #8.95

shout outs to VesperArcade the most ADpressive stream ever

Not making any plans/guarantees as of yet, but I am definitely gonna try to go. I have to experience it at least once, win or lose.

is this going to be on a first come first serve basis?

Definitely. I’m a poor college student so I’m depending on selling this stick ASAP to buy UMvC3. Lol.

cause i was looking to see if anybody wanted to split the room charges?

Yes sir I plan to be there for a week as well… I won’t be at Caesar’s (goes against the rules of ā€œHow to do Evoā€), but I will be trying to get a Goon Suite… Get on and stay on it.

What is Denton doing for UMVC3 next week, day 0 meetup plz? This is Ryan btw if you didn’t know. I might have to actually learn the game cause I can’t spam broken assists but I wanna get into it again.

I plan on going to Evo at the very last minute and probably just to spectate. I’m told it’s way more fun when you don’t have stupid things like video games interrupting your party!

I completely disagree, but to each his own

What happened in houston?

EDIT:
Lulz, nevermind. News roundup had an article about it posted.

Im not sure yet, it depends on the general mood of everyone im assuming. After the midnight, if everone wants to play then we can play, but if they wanna lab then itll just be labbing until the next day haha.

As posted on the FB group

Hope to see you all this weekend!

I’d say It depends on your perspective…

If you are a competitive gamer, it will do nothing but enhance your experience if you train as hard as you can to compete that the event. Regardless of whether you make Top 8, or just make it out of your pool or whatever. Getting the opportunity to see your hard work pay off at the biggest event of the year makes the trip all the more sweet.

That being said, if you are just a casual fighting game player, but still enjoy just being around the community, it is well worth it to go and just hang out… It is Vegas after all, and every year I make sure I get my annual fill of Vegas life.

Last year was a blast since they had so many new games they were letting people play. I got knocked outta my pools hella early and most of the days I spent playing SFxT… With Poongko none the less!

Hey guys, that Texarkana tournament is this Saturday. Are any of you guys going? Some of the details can be found here…

I plan on showing up with a few Arkansas guys. It would be nice to get some games in with you guys and it’s only a few hours away!

Lowering the price to $80. Gotta sell this ASAP.

I work 2nd shift this Friday, and already have something scheduled for 7 out near plano. If I got nothing happening that night, I’ll try and stop by and get some Soul Caliber knowledge. I never really got in to that series, other than just random voldo/cervantes combos.

Is there any other info on that Texarkana tourney that’s NOT in facebook?
I’d need an address/games being played/starting times.
I don’t have a facebook account because I’m not a stupid attention whore.

Come on mayne… 800 million can’t be wrong… lol
