Daisuke Ishiwatari and Toshimichi Mori interview on ANN

Mostly a lot of fluffy questions, nothing really deep or technical. However, Ishiwatari does mention “concluding” the Guilty Gear series in the future.

Also, Ishiwatari loves his In’n’Out.

thanx for the link

i like how it seems that some people still believe that Rebel stands for Level for engrish reasons, when is damn clear that it was about being rebellious aagainst the fate

I can honestly say I never thought about ‘rebel’ being engrish. I always assumed it was referring to the characters, uh, REBELLING against their fate.

I thought people just said that to make it sound less cheesy in front of their none-BB playing mates.

It’s still Engrish.

Mori likes Tactics Ogre. He’s all right in my book.

The human race loves their In-N-Out

Also, hell yeah Mori loves Hakumen, the only other character in BB who isn’t lame (+Hazama)
Hopefully this supposed final GG doesn’t end up being contoured to be more like BB, that would be…awful.
Let’s just have one new generation fighter that actually has a legitimate learning curve.

He has to love Hakumen. It’s his creation from high school.

i just thought rebel was a word they picked at random

I thought Rebel was some intentional English put in as a joke.

ishiwatari stated in a previous interview that GG is for hardcore players, and he plans to keep GG like that

I still fear for the sequel to GGAC. :frowning:

Nothing more hardcore then RTS x Fighting x FPS game. That’s like, all the competitive genres rolled in to one!
