Listen, you guys can lol me all you want and call me sad life or whatever, but let me just say this.
Daigo had a mentality to always improve. You see that in his street fighter interviews. He always improved yet he never let games get in the way of his own life too much, unlike some gamers on this website, who give up jobs to make it out of pools. He shows a perfect balance of both and maintains a good life, while doing smart things outside of the gae with his brand name. That is why he is an inspiration, whether you like it or not. He took this street fighter shit and made something of himself with it. You have to admit that deserves respect. That kind of drive is something you all could take to your own lives.
If you could take nothing else from it, take that.
wow, ok. If you say so. If a person is skilled at a game, I can’t do nothing but respect his/her game or accomplishments, but outside of that it gets awkward. I guess I come from the generation where every one inspiration was to become a better player vs being a better follower.
