I know people can have fun outside language barriers, though. Heck, I travelled in rural India for a month, and although most of the older ppl I met didnāt know a word english, we still got along perfectly fine.
Issei was there to do translate. He is a top 3rd Strike player and won teamed up with Justin to win the SF3 2 on 2 tournament. Heās living in New York to attend college now. He became friends with the top players over there so he went with them to Evo. Here is a pre Evo video of Issei actually talking about Daigo

Sounds like that was epic. Iād MM with Daigo even if Iād get my butt kicked just to fight him. Probably an invaluable experience. May try it if I go to EVO next year. Iām definitely considering it.
