What my point is is that he was probably nerve-wracked after taking down Poongko and Daigo, and performed worse than he normally would have because of it.

If that’s true about the select button being re-wired then I have nothing to say… to be fair the select button thing probably isn’t even in the Evo rules so he could actually get away with that unfortunately. Still that exposes Daigo quite a bit but that doesn’t negate the fact he’s still a good player regardless and he got #1 on the arcades in Japan without the select button, who knows maybe he does this on consoles just because he can? shrugs
Daigo was missing links pretty often in the finals.
