Daigo Fan Tears Are Delicious, Latif Losing is Not =(

What exactly are you trying to say here? =\

i dont think daigo is really hated because he wins, i think hes hated because he wins, smiles, acts all nice, then goes back to japan talking all sorts of shit about how the us is free. not only that but then you have his leigons of fanboys, some who support him because they like watching him play(which is fine). But then you have the majority of his non japanese fans who are just bandwagon weeaboo dickriders. the only reasons they like daigo are; Hes the race they want to be (Japanese), and also because hes good and wins alot. Now the dickriders piss me off more due to the fact that 99% dont even really take the game seriously and just wank japan like crazy. then talk about how their own countries are free, and they dont even understand the work and dedication it takes daigo to actually get that good, but most of the time they chalk it up to him being japanese.

now when i saw daigo not only get completley bodied by poongko, but also beat by latif. i was happy. not only because, daigo lost (and who doesnt like to see the king be dethroned). but also i was excited for the lulz i was going to have reading his fangirls comments, and excuses for why he lost. i was still mad that japan won tho, the daigo dick riders couldnt say much, but the weeaboos were still talking.

No, learn to read. Respect the notion that for every fan, he will have someone who doesn’t respect him as much. I was continually told I couldn’t hate simply because he was a “nice guy” and good at what he does.

Just curious, VF fundamentals are made up of what particular skills? I heard Guilty Gear requires great execution. SF2 requires good zoning. VF requires good yomi? All I heard is that VF is hard to master and rewards the better player more than some other games.

i only played VF2 at the arcades a few times. Tried the drunken old man and the mantis kung fu kid so im not familiar with it. I heard Gamerbee also comes from a VF background

Agreed.

Jwong is one of the few people who plays FOR the fans and to put on a show. He said himself that he picked Rufus in SF4 because Rufus had an aggressive playstyle, as opposed to the turtle style of his Chun-Li main in 3rd strike.

Also, Jwong kept saying that he wanted to BEAT Dark Phoenix and refused to add her on his team. That’s another example of Jwong challenging himself to win in his own, exciting way, instead of bandwagoning. I really wanted to see the rest of his anti-Phoenix tech with Storm (his favorite char since MvC2) vs the powerhouse Viscant in the Grand Finals.

Note: I don’t hate Phoenix, I think Viscant’s smart and innovative play deserves the championship. But I always like a good fight, and Viscant’s powerhouse team and great gameplans VS underdog Justin’s amazing reactions + creative counter-strat would have made for a nice what if.

So I gotta agree with people who said JWong gets a lot of undeserved hate. JWong has a likeable personality too, he speaks his mind and openly displays his passion for the game and competition

I hated a lot of people in the World of Warcraft gaming community, a lot of them were hypocrites and did unethical things to win. But strangely enough I don’t hate anyone in the competitive fighting game scene. Even Fchamp, he might be rude but he has a lot of passion and is entertaining, plus the skills to back up his smacktalk

And to think this guy did an hour long panel trying to help YOU and the rest of the community level up their game. Daigo gives you guys to much respect.

stay free daigo

Only loss is Neurosis…and NO SINGLE BIPSON in top 34?? tell me how strong and fast he is? Again?

they turn down bison so bad, that no one can use him…

hating someone for changing characters is pretty petty

They took each other on again in the salty suite same result he changes tactics completely after Fei gains U2 and he never adjust Fuudo just straight up outplays him. The only guy who got revenge against Fuudo was Xian.

Fuudo OCV the makeshift team USA they stood no chance.

So that’s what you want from him. Then answer this question: Can you respect the notion that for every hater, there will be a fan who will hate him/her as well for hating his/her idol? You whine about someone’s whining when you’re whining yourself. Learn to think.:nono:

How about this? If you don’t like a top player, get better at the game and beat them.

As much as Daigo fan tears were delicious, Latif fan tears were like drops of ecstasy. Just watching the whole room die out once they realized Fuudo straight up annihilated Latif was very satisfying. Also lol at the US for trying to claim Latif as one of their own… pathetic.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not hating on these top players. It’s just fans, haters, bandwagoners that annoy the hell out of me. It’s one thing if you’ve been cheering for one player from the start but I’ve seen people who cheered for Poongko against Daigo but competely booed Poongko when he played against Latif. This is why no one like you US. You all ride more dicks than your porn stars.

Has there even been a chart done after EVO to show the influx of Japanese dick riders that sign up to SRK?

both,they are both extremely annoying.

Fuudo knew the Viper matchup going in. He used c.mk after knockdown to go under or stuff Viper’s moves (ex. fierce tk or burning kicks) on wakeup. Then he put Latif in the corner which is easy to do with Fei Long. Latif didn’t get exposed. Latif did whatever he could but Fuudo’s character had all the tools to beat Viper. Trust me, it’s a very rough match for Viper.

Yea Fuudo Vs Latif was slaughter, Poongko did wayyyy better against Fuudo, but he plays Seth, so he’s playing russian roulette and anything can happen. Not to take anything away from Fuudo though, he’s insane, but he just hit him with a 80% DMG ultra after his HP being 20% 2 or 3 times (Which requires great reading abilities)

Gratz to Viscant, still sad about Combofiend though I have a feeling he had some secret stuff he hadn’t shown yet by his entrance.

Daigo’s Old ryu >> His Yun. His Ryu was the ultimate wall + due to Ryu had great great offense/traps too. Yun = Full offensive, and when youre fighting someone that plays Viper/Yun/Seth? You deadz

Where have you ever seen Daigo talk shit about the US? I’d say that most people even people that don’t like him know him as to be one of the most humble and quiet people you’ll ever see minus those bogus hype videos that gets put out before major events to get people to come/watch.

On topic, I wasn’t surprised to see Daigo lose to Poongko in that fashion. I mean look at how bad Poongko murdered Momochi at Shadowloo and in some respects people consider Momochi better then Daigo with Yun. Latif played his heart out and again proves just how strong he is. I was really hoping for US to pull it out but Fuudo was too solid. His Fei was completely unshakable like a wall of defense against everything Latif did.

Props to the US for really representing well and proving that Japan isn’t completely dominant in AE. I mean most people thought not a single American would Top 8 and Latif/Wolfkrone/Flash all represented and stepped up to that challenge.

Props to all of the Top 8 finishers.

are you serious? well I guess with a name like america this statement is right.

this^
