Cyber Zone Valley View

Hey guys, im pretty sure I am posting on the right thread.

Just to start off, I figured this would be the best place for people to find out where to find some fighting games here arcade wise.

Cyber Zone Valley View Mall off of 635 and Preston. Dallas, TX

Just to list some of the fighting games we have right now.

Marvel vs Capcom 2
Capcom vs SNK 2
Street Fighter 3 Third Strike
King of Fighters XI
Tekken 5 Dark Ressurection
Soul Calibur 3
Soul Calibur 2
Mortal Kombat 3 Ultimate

I think im missing a few more. But stop by and see us if you havent already. Nice to see some new competetion come out and play.

Thanks,

Gregory Gawaran

Cool, I’ll go by this weekend and check it out.

Would like to see you guys come out, so I can get some feedback on some of the machines. As far as everything goes, I would just like to replace some buttons and a joystick here and there. It would be nice to see a lot more competition up here.

If you have any problems with anything let us know so I can attend to them.

Jonny said you have to order a new mvc2 cab, once that’s there I’ll go check it out.

Our new marvel cabinet has been up and running for a few days now. The joysticks have been replaced, however I need to replace the buttons. They are all in working order but are not the ideal ones for mashing :P.

CvS2 Is in good working other minus the monitor. We had the board taken out today, and should be up and running again no later then wednesday, and the soonest would be Sunday.

might have to visit after work since its like down the street.

badass, ill have to check it out sometime needs a ride

I’ve been to your guy’s arcade about 4 years ago when I had a job interview up in Dallas while I was in transition from graduating from A&M. Went up there to play DDR Extreme and if I remember correctly, you guys had some of the games on Japanese Versus Cabinets as well as a console gaming room. Is that still there as well?

Is 3s up and running?

UMK3?!?!?! I’ll be there.

say greg holla at me if you need me to order buttons for the cabinet…

also do i still need to redrill the mega cab or what are we gonna do with it.

Went up there today and played MvC2 and DR. Sticks felt kinda sensitive for MvC2 but it worked perfectly fine. I’ll be hitting up there again in 2 weeks.

gotta go check this out…we should set something up for some 3s games…next sunday maybe?

Nice to see some of you guys have come by.

Johnny-

We dont need to redrill since marvel is in a smaller cabinet like third strike. I would like to space them out but since its a metal playfield I feel it would be too costly for the moment. As of right now, I could use, 24 more buttons for MvC2 and CvS2 and 2 joysticks for cvs. — The mega cab is gone, Jason hauled it away with him when he delivered cvs2 and marvel.

The Japanese cabinets are not there anymore. We had too much trouble with the ones we had purchased. But in the future we will revert back to a better set of them for space conservation and overall better gameplay (at least for me).

Fasty - 3s is up and running =) and UMK3 should be running very smoothly as well.

I so want to buy the VOOT cabinets. >.>

Not bad of an arcade.
I didn’t like the button setup for CvS2 and KOFXI and if you can, a taller seat for XI would be better than that current chair that you have.
I didn’t have any problems with any buttons or sticks on the games I played.
Though it was fun playing SC3 AE again and on a nice machine too; I suck at UMK3.
Any chance of bringing anymore old school fighters to the arcade?

Definitely going to check this place out. What days and times are the most people up there?

People coming to play is kinda random, but the busy days are the weekend, fri - sun.

Button layout on cvs2 is kinda bleh, but at the moment am very limited on what I can do for that machine.

Another note - CvS2 is working again, it was fixed the same day after I left.

Button layout for KoFXI came like that from sega, so I dont see a need to change it.

As far as more old school fighters, I am trying to get Street Fighter II Turbo, Killer Instinct, Guilty Gear X2. Ultimately, if I can show the owner fighting games can make good number for him, itll be more incentive to get more machines.

i only vote for ggxx accent core… but lets support what we have now for the time being… ill be up there tommorow for a bit to check on shit and see what i need to order.

alrighty, I work the morning shift tomorrow.
