Can anyone tell what the character on Cyber-Akuma’s back means? I didn’t realise it was different to Akuma’s character.

It looks like evil ryus symbol to me , which i think stands for destruction.
Yep. The pronunciation is “metsu,” and it’s also the first kanji in “messatsu” (as in Messatsu Gou Hadou, Messatsu Gou Shouryuu, etc).
BTW, that image from Card Fighters 2 is not the same character. That’s ZERO Gouki, a giant robot that appeared in the console versions of CAPCOM’s 2D robot fighting game, Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness.
