2p cross ups dont work on hibiki. Because cvs2 has a built in rating system on how annoying a character is. It just happens to be that hibiki is ranked #1, so the creators decided to give her this handicap. (But on the real Buktooth69 and Otaku always get hit by this cause… well they forget about it.)

Kim, can you upload more vids of Rolento vs Blanka? Whatever matches you watched to make you better at this matchup. I lose so bad with Rolento every time somebody picks Blanka against me it makes me cry like a little girl. What does Shiro do? (besides pick Yamazaki)
I get zapped by crossup j.MK, HP electricity, d.HK to work my guard. If I alpha counter Blanka when he does the HP electricity, then I go for a crossup j.MK on him, I get zapped by wakeup RC electricity.
K-Blanka is the absolute hardest match for me. Once he gets Rage --> :mad:
I can’t stop him at all. My counter to Blanka’s low jump is to always preemptively jump straight up and come down with an attack. I can’t do that anymore once Blanka gets meter though, since I can’t air block anti-air supers. Blanka spams the low jumps all day on me then and I don’t know what to do.
RC Scouter Fierce maybe? Even that is hard to execute on reaction.
Blanka keeps going under my counter hit s.LP attempts with his d.HP. I don’t think he’s doing it on purpose. He’s guessing that I’m going for s.LP, throw and he’s trying to tech hit I think. Still, that’s so dumb that Blanka can do that though. Going for counter hit crouching jab combos isn’t as easy as just walking up and stand jabbing him.
My slide is good against Blanka. I can beat his s.MP and d.MK, and sweep whiffed d.HP’s for free every time, but his low jump HK is the perfect counter for my sweep.
j.HK is a pain in the ass in the general. I try to stay at the range where I can always anti-air him with early s.MP, but it’s so hard to keep him out. I can’t get in myself at all either because his vertical j.HP is a wall that stops everything I do to try and get in from the air. I try to catch him in his tripguard with my sweep when he does jump up and down with HP, but I get low jumped on then.
Blanka wakes up with the instantly airborne balls to bounce away safely and nullify whatever attack I tried to do on him as he gets up. It’s either that or use the back hop as he gets up. I try to bait those two moves and then punish him for it when it gets up, but then Blanka wakes up with RC Electricity while I’m crouching there waiting and my guard meter gets raped.
Yeah, any vids or if you know some tips that can help me with my strategy problems I would appreciate. Thanks. I’ve been purposely matching up R2 Rolento against my friends using Blanka to force myself to play this counter match and improve, and I’m still barely doing any damage to just R1 Blankas.
edit: My bad. Rolento’s s.LP does cleanly counter hit Blanka’s d.HP. I don’t know why the heck I thought it didn’t. I confuse myself sometimes with thinking too much (Rock 360+P going under the Rolento s.LP, Blanka d.HP going under the Sagat s.LP). That makes that part against Blanka a whole lot easier now at least.

With enough practice rc scouter jump to stop low jumps is realistic. Practice

Blanka low fiercing you upclose when you are stand jab pressure/counter hit fishing is not real. You are messing up your timing somewhere. I good thing to do is, when you actually do try and throw while doing walking jabs, is when you walk forward to try and throw, always buffer into forward version of knive. Its sort of an option select. Also, the reason you do forward version is because, if you slide or stand forward or low fierce after the knife it is combo timing, so they cant uppercut or whatever in between. Thats the Kim/Combofiend special. So if we do it, then its cool to do it!
Rolento vs Blanka is Blanka>Rolento. It’s just a fact. Practice the match up but accept that thats just how Blanka rolls.

I had a feeling the RC fierce would be good against Blanka low jumps. Blanka’s normal jumps go too high so the only thing that reaches him is j.LP. The low jump is nice and low just like Yamazaki or Sagat’s jumps though. Perfect angle to stop with RC fierce. I will practice that also. Thanks again. :tup:
edit: My RC Scouter Jump Forward j.HP completely misses against Blanka’s low jump HK also?
Am I not doing it right? I’m about to practice qcb+LP as fast as I can from a crouching position instead. Far s.HP and far s.MK from far away and early look like they have potential (probably not though).

1)Can anyone figure out a way to do this C-Ryu combo: (crouch sagat in corner) low short, low jab, stand jab, low forward, lvl 2 fireball super, jab fireball, dash in , lvl 1 hurricane kick super. I want to land this just to be cool. but the lvl 1 hurricane doesnt hit despite the super freeze where you see sagat in the air. Maybe it will work on someone else who pops up higher or something.

Combo Vega air grab super in a custom, Maj recommended having dhalsim do jump up jab, and vega custom then low roundhouse and air super. But I don’t think it works.

Alright I got a question.
When I combo Rolento’s c.mk into patriot circles, what exactly is the best way? I’m asking because I want full details and such (unlike the n00bs who don’t even say at least 3 pieces of frame data); currently I’m triple tapping but should i do it by index-middle-ring or ring-middle-index? Or should I just double tap fierce? One time I saw a Japanese player double tap Strong, is that better in some way? I saw this one Japanese guy triple tap the buttons with JUST HIS THUMB and I was like god this game is so cheap, i never want to play it again. Only losers triple tap with their thumbs. I don’t even see a question in this paragraph but I rant anyway.
And GOD don’t get me started on the cheapness of Activating with A-groove. I’m trying to play a real man’s game by walking up and jab x infinity but these losers use easy mode and press two buttons and once again I’m screaming at my losses. Oh btw I only want Buktooth or Choi to answer me. I pretty much have the rest of SRK on ignore, but not really, I just like to say that so I feel better about myself. I think one day I’ll be smug enough to hang with the top players.
So my real question is, should I combo c.mk into patriot circles via chain timing or link it? I think knowing this answer will help me beat the top players in my area. Nothing beats that cheap bastard Vega, and I would have no idea what to do against something as invincible as j. HK, so I’m not even gonna ask about that but I guess I will cry about it since that’s what I do.
even though i don’t use rolento i’m able to land patriot circles pretty consistently by tapping all three buttons like rc elec until all hits connect.
