you know. i been watching cvs2 a lot lately just because, and its not super turtle like i had in my head from what i have watched in person, and from what people talk about. all the matches i have seen so far are fun and great. wtf!!! im mad i have let this shit collect dust for so long. eh, shit happens. good shit on those acho’s, and choi is so manly. i like buktooth’s matches too. im all late. LOL

Watched the 3rd one. Noticed Shin frequently buffered slappy hands while blocking yours. Other than that he wasn’t predictable with it so that’s hard to counter. Still, a few well placed rolls followed by something into slash kick would give you enough damage to make it worth guessing. With honda’s big frame I’m thinking MP hurricanes could work well against him, possibly even trading with max range RC slaps.
Honda v Ken seemed kind of spammy, but not knowing that matchup at all maybe that’s how it needs to be played. Maybe you could have used some fireballs at ranges where RC Funky just whiffs. Interchanging those two up imo is the stronger option.
At the end I could tell Shin was repeatedly trying to RC scissor or crusher to finish it off in a rather random manner. Catching on to that sort of thing could give you the upper hand the next time you play. As the DDR announcer says: “stay cool”.
