kcxj u should come to final round 9
I thought I couldn’t talk to you anymore
is there any footage of rai’s k-mai? i was interested in pickin her up and its all too short to search
What do you think? My teams any good?
C Eagle, Cammy, Rolento.
N Rolento, Rock, Cammy.
N Ryu/Rock, Cammy, Yamazaki.
I always put the ratio 2 last btw.
edit
So I guess maybe N Cammy, Rock, Rolento.
you are using cammy in her weakest grooves so you should put her first
c/n are cammy’s weakest grooves? since when?
i think he’s just referring to N only…
though it’s probably debatable whether A, N or S is her weakest since we haven’t seen much of them recently…(with those exception of non-top players)
A-Cammy is the worst.
I use to use her regularly, but then when I got better at the game, I realized she blows.
Think about it, she no longer has one button hit xx super, she now has, “poke poke poke, and guess when I can activate FTW! durr”
Bad thing about her is you can runaway from her all day for free, because she loses in A what makes her good in other grooves, pressure xx super.
S cammy > C cammy
i’m curious as to why you think that. and don’t just say “cause dr. b uses that”
-mr. b
mr.b in da house!!!
how about N Geese/Chun/Sagat? I like Geese but I always use him in K. I tried to use Iori in N but i suck with him so I’m thinking of using Geese instead.
huh? you should know first hand that A-cammy is deadly. (remember?) it’s similar to why people choose A-vega…hint hint…
I’d even go so far as to say N-cammy is good. People gotta tone down their fancy-schmancy and sit on that meter (the most important thing about N-cammy, since her roll sucks). If she needs meter, believe me, she can get it…but then again, K-cammy is too easy…cammy in general is deadly, and she IS easier to win with in P or K but people haven’t invested enough time in N…
who am i kidding just stick with P or K, less work right
yeah i remember A-cammy, doesn’t mean it was a good A-cammy, means i suck.
I’m thinking of ditching a second character and using K-Mai r3 Rugal. Mai is good; if I play right I can take down 2 guys. R3 Rugal is short short win. Your thoughts? I also use KRyu. Just gotta learn to how jd better.
Is your Rugal able to take advantage of people who would try to run away once you get rage? In reality I’ve actually eaten the k-super far more than I would prefer to but I still think he’s better with stored super. Also, is R3 Rugal’s super that much more powerful than R2 Rugal? I haven’t checked. Lend some insights into your Rugal…sounds kinda interesting.
short short win does about 1400 more in R3. Honestly it’s not that much. But as far as catching people who run away, the trouble I do have is with Rolento for sure and Bison to some extent. Other than that, if the opp is jumping back all day while I’m raged, I throw repu, run after it, and then they have to choose from jumping over and getting st strong AAed or JDed, or blocking the repu and taking their chances with my blockstrings/throwmixup in the corner.
I really just started playing again a little while ago but the gameplan still seems to work. Since I only just began using K groove, the onus is on me to up my JD skills and corner meanness.
But anyway I think the increase damaged from throws and normals is really good. shortshortwin
heh, of course not.
anyways, I think S groove cammy is better than C cammy mainly because her dodge > her roll and roll cancels. cammy has a hard ass time fighting characters with a fireball in a roll groove. her punch dodge gives her the close hp and kick dodge gives her the far hk, both moves which are pretty abusable in its own.
having a low jump always helps for cammy and outside of c.lk, c.lk xx level 2 spin drive, it frequently misses when cancelled off of far hp or hk.
S - Cammy is arguably her best groove. Her st.fp/rh are already deadly and with knock-down added it makes it that much better.
I’ve switched to P groove as of late and my team is Kyo/Rolento/Cammy-2. I want to get decent with parrying, but it seems to get me in more trouble then anything. My question is when you parry is it usually a guess to a certain patten, or should it be an actual reaction to the move?
Nah, K-Cammy has to be the best Cammy. She gets a free combo everytime she air JD’s all the hits of fierce Tiger Uppercut. S-Cammy just eats all the hits and gets dizzy instead.
Yeah, S-Cammy gets a free roundhouse knockdown when she dodges a Blanka d.HP. But Blanka gets knocked across the screen and S-Cammy can’t really follow up after that.
K-Cammy can JD the Blanka d.HP, get free d.MK xx drill combo, and be left standing right over Blanka to either mix him up or punish his tech roll with no extra effort needed.
Not to mention that K-Cammy gets like three level 3 supers every round too. Far s.HP on the counterhit (or trade even) becomes deadly as it lets you link a level 3 super every time.
S-Cammy keeps the pressure on with her fierces, but the opponent (A, P, C-groove) is get getting their super bars built up for free while S-Cammy is getting nothing. It’s counter productive if you ask me. Once you do break their guard, the worse S-Cammy can do to you is run up, close s.HP xx drill combo anyway, because she didn’t have time to charge up her meter for the super.
K-Cammy can JD or get hit until raged, then break the opponent’s guard in like 8 seconds, combo a super… three or more times a round.
