And that’s what I tried to do with this game!
I found a funny glitch.
If Lilith does mystic arrow into luminous illusion near the corner, the opponent will ride her to the corner and be shot out of the game! lol
Edit: Also, sometimes you just get stuck in your falling frame directly above her…
Okay the final update is on the first post. U have to download the “chars” files and “CVS2 ReMix” files. If u have the game already, be sure to take out the “sound” folder before deleting the CVS2 ReMix directory. Then create a new directory and extract the “chars” and “CVS2 ReMix” files in there and then put that “sound” file back in the new directory.
And u should be good to go.
I refuse to update unless you tell me what you did. EXACTLY and to who and why.
Btw I’m having a hard time hitcomfirming into K’s Chain Drive… Tell me you didn’t mess him up in you attempt to “balance” the game…
EDIT: I figured out what you did to K’! How could you… You removed some of his combos from KOF? Are you mad? He can’t combo into his DMs off of his commmands normals?!:annoy:
EDIT2: So I went and updated CVSReMix… and what do I find? No Demitri. He who’s SA BnB only does 25% life has been removed… and who takes his place? Only a jackass would find this guy a good character to put in… Webster in all his glory decided to drop Demitri(remember the CPU gets all the perks) and replaces him with… Chonshu… WHAT THE FUCK? Hell no. I’m going back to the 2nd version.

And yes, I did remove demitri! Why, cause he’s fucking broke.
Okay so here we go:
Demitri can do the following:
- Armor mode, characters can’t do one single CC on him since he can combo break out of them (and NO other character can do that).
- Auto wake up, there is NO 50/50 vs him. When u score a knock down so random ghost chick comes out and hit u. It’s automatic. So rush down is impossible.
- Before I removed it, he had 214214 + AK. And if he had 3 lvs u pretty much lose…j.HK s.LP,s.LP,s.LP,s.LK, s.MK 236+ LK s.LP 214214 + AK x3 (cancel right before the launching uppercut). Does close to 95% damage…broken
- There is not one single character that could beat Demetri, unless u pick EX S.Gouki and do double air fireball all freaking day and that is the most boring…and pray EX Demitri doesn’t dash from out of screen anyways and stop gouki from doing fireball and beast him.
But by all means u can go and download him from the link I gave u, just search “God Demitri”. And worship his brokeness. I mean I like the character, hella bad ass…but I am aiming for a balanced game…(not to include God Rugal and S.Gouki…but even though they aren’t as bad…in terms of broke).

If you remove moves from characters why can’t you remove some of hi sbroken features? Like removing SA-cancels from his 214214+K? And can’t you remove armor mode? The combo break thing is stupid yes, but there’s NOTHING you can do about that?
Or just put in regular Demitri instead?

Lol, I did learn that 95% dmage combo with his SC off of his 214214+K in like 2 mins…
Well to be honest, I really don’t know how to do all that. I just know how to balance like health and take moves out of games. Everything I do, is self taught, and to be honest, I think I did a pretty good job with this game.
And besides, I needed a female “boss” character anyways…so that’s why I added Choushu!
HatredEdge, he just slapped the stuff together and did some tweaks in at least an attempt to balance it.
If he knew what he was doing he would’ve compiled it all together too so that shared sprites and code are in the common files to cut down heavily on file size at the very least.
You can go in and end the CMD files to get raid of the brokeness. The problem is with the fact that CPu will still use the moves. You would have to make new AI for the character which is not hard if you have Mugen Fighter Factory.
Also all that dont know. There is an update for all of the CVS2 characters by Warusuki3. But I dont know if you want to update with his version because it might cause conflict.

Grade: B+(Chonshu sucks)
Solid soundtrack. Great selection of characters(shoulda kept OG Demitri if God Demitri was an issue).
Lots of stages.
I would most def buy this over the OG CVS2.
I thought you were fucking players over(WTF is Chonshu?!:mad:) but after you posted what you yourself can do I retract those statements. You did pretty good.

Thanks for the review Hatred. I was searching and searching for a solid Demitri. Couldn’t find one. I was going to even use a svc demitri as a last resort…but he…to me…kinda sucked and didn’t make any sense. Especially playing him with only 4 buttons.
Chonshu is a pretty got damn good character. I’ll post more about her later. Can fucking rush down like nobody’s business.
I played around with Chonshu in NGBC… She’s alright. I just don’t like her appearance. It looks weird…
Shadow Charlie is pretty cool too. I have to thank you for the Forest of Death soundtrack from T4. I dunno why but I really like that song.

actually Webster my point was if you bothered to learn a little bit you’d be able to streamline and balance this a lot better and get it a lot smaller on the download.

Whatever. But keep in mind that at least making the system graphics and sounds for the characters via the common.snd and fightfx.air/.sff files results in a 3-5+ MB size decrease for each and less memory haul.
Now given Waru’s got, what 50 or so chars under his belt, and you’re using them in here? That shaves at least 150 MB off the game, and makes it play smoother. Thus by putting in the effort everyone gets one big payoff. Additionally given Waru recently added Finest KO to everyone he made.
I keep getting errors trying to extract character files… on both versions of the game. Maybe my extractor is poo?
