So, I’m getting an error extracting the characters with the “cvs” prefix (example “cvsathena”).
There’s an error with the file in their folder labeled “???.txt”

LATE EDIT: Man EX Demitri is fun to play as! He can backdash through the end of the stage and reappear at the other?! Man that’s too good! His zoning is solid too. Good projectiles and his 236K is great for zoning and oki(has great guard crushing capabilities too). It recovers fast enough that if you’re not in fron of him you can’t punish it. HE IS BEAST!!! Webster, the AI is pretty stupid. Pick EX demitri and do 236K and you’ll see what I mean. The CPU will eat it or block it and be guard crushed… Which I why i want to play you guys.
Okay there was one small thing I forgot to do before I uploaded the final version of the game. Here is a character update (just follow the directions for the final update):

All you have to do is extract this file in the “Goenitz” file (located in your "CVS2 ReMix directory in the “chars” folder) and click yes when asked to overwrite existing file. Then this character will be updated.
Okay well try to download everything again. Because everything should work fine.
But if this problem continues, then pm me and I’ll upload a special file for yha!
WTF Websster! NOTHING beats Vice’s special/SA throws? NOTHING? The bitch threw me out of everything! And not to mention for some stupid resason you can’t jump out when you see the flash like when Clark does his DM throws. WTF man? Vices throws have TOO MUCH priority. This is why I hate grapplers. Whenever they come out any good its mostly cuz they’re overpowered in some way(Potemkin).
And theres a problem with Demitri as well. KO someone with a move that KDs like cr.HK. Even if you KOed them they won’t die. They’ll lay there on the floor and the next match/round won’t start unless you hit them. Its not really a big deal. Just a heads up… I like this guy with his range and specials I can zone or rushdown.
EDIT: Your CVS2 is cutting out on me. It shutdown a few times. And the sound doesn’t always work like no music at char selection screen. Solutions?
EDIT2: Demitri is interesting. He has 4 SAs, only 3 I have figured out so far. My favorite is his 214x2+K SA. Why? it does about the same damage as his others(236x2+P/K), and dashes in, and only needs ONE bar!!.. but there’s something else…something wicked…yes…Demitri can cancel his 214x2+K super…into another SA! Imagine my shock to discover that I can combo into that SA and SC into it again and again?! I haven’t got the timing down perfect yet.
-It tends to not connect after the 1st SA on an air opponent(the SA lifts them up/236K launches on hit)
-Too easy to input the SA twice resulting a watse of meter and the SA not connecting.
Hatred: yea the sound issue you were talking about happens here and there. so that’s not a major problem. if it does happen, just go back to the title screen and then go back to the character select screen and the music will reboot itself…LOL!
About the KO issue, I’ve never seen that before ever. EDIT: Oh I know what u mean. Okay when you score a knockdown and win the match the screen will turn dark and you might here a little howl. When that happens do 236236+b and watch to see the greatness that is Demitri…it sucks he’s the only character in the game that can do “this” but it’s still really fucking cool.
Now if u don’t do anything, then the game will just go to the next round or back to the character select screen!
And yes, demitri is a very solid character. I think Vice’s command throw super had the same priorities as in the “real” cvs2 game, as in this one!
The sound thing did happen and I did go back to the menu and the music back fine.
The 236236+B… I just did it… That move is fucking awesome!
I’ve gotten this twice and only after I upgraded: Assert failure Charsel.c line 3162 What is that?
EDIT: It seems Demitri can escape hitstun by activating a SA. I’ve seen him do it when hit by S.Akuma’s Messatsu Goushoryuken. But I noticed he’s only done it with his 2 stock SA. And why can’t I do his air fireball? Is that one of the “perks” the CPU gets?

Also there a glitch in arcade mode in arcade mode when you fight as Clark. When I beat him he randomly falls though the stage in the desert level and it dosn’t count as him touching the ground so the match dosn’t end…
Odd… never happened to me. I go through arcade mode as V. Ken/Demitri/S. Akuma.

Something else…You done messup Oz BAD… Oz’s BnB QCB+A>QCF+A>QCF+A>QCB+B buffers his LDM. A>A>fwd>B(LP>LP>fwd>LK)Great. Now whenever I try to do it I combo into his LDM ALL THE TIME.

Hatred Edge: Yes I did remove some of Demitri’s broken stuff. But in the end, there is no end to his brokeness. So let’s just say that his time has come to step aside in the final update.
EX God Rugal doesn’t have 23663214 + AK because it’s an infinite that u can’t escape at all. And besides regular Rugal has God mode, hold start on Rugal and there u go with all moves in tact.
And yes I did allow the computer to keep the broken stuff, to make arcade mode more challenging.
Husky Brown: Yea that has happened to me a couple of times. And I know I coded everything correctly in the system.def file. But what I did was do it all again and ran thru arcade mode and didn’t get any problems. So with the next update in a matter of hourse you’ll be fine.

And at least give EX G. Rugal back his God Press. Can’t you just make it KD instead to eliminate the infinite? You took out his moves and gave him nothing in return?
Dude I’m telling you DO NOT have CPU-exclusive moves the player characters once had/can’t do. Capcom, SNK, and ASW does this shit ALL THE TIME. Everytime I see Guile do a standing flash kick, or Shishioh does moves than I can’t do, or Venom does THREE Stinger Aims in a row at the beginning of a match I want to punch the dev team in the face. NO ONE LIKES THAT. That shit is not cool and saying “it’s to make the arcade mode more challenging” is a lame cop out. If you’re gonna remove moves from the game MAKE SURE NO ONE HAS THEM.
A fight is two opponents bringing their abilities the ring not a bout of whos the greater cheater. Opponents meet on EVEN ground. I cannot believe a player/gamer akin to myself would do that. You keep making the game better for the CPU and not the PLAYER just like the rest of those bastard jap dev teams… This I why I want to quit FGs. Developers cheating players all the time.
