I thought it was pretty hype. Choi, Ricky, Leezy, Albert, and others showed…we even got some loud hype early on.

Resurrecting this thread. Why? To pimp the ranbat at southtown arcade in SF on 9/11, which will include CVS2!:party:

Hey everyone, me and a friend picked this game up recently and we want to do some casuals, besides just fighting between the two of us…lol. Are there certain days of the week where it’s pretty hyped up at MGL?

Used to be poppin’ on Friday nights, but they haven’t had a reliable cabinet in a long time, so a lot of us stopped going. There’s always AE players there that might play CVS if one or both of the cabs ever get fixed, but most of the dedicated CVS players don’t waste their time with MGL anymore.

MGL used to be so hype, but its just so…so inconsistent now. Although tbh, I haven’t been playing all this time. There is so little reason to get as into the game these days with so little tournies, but that ranbats at Southtown might re-invigorate me to actually care again…
