So im making a Cd or 2 to rip into my xbox. Aside from all the other cds I ripped, this one is strictly for Fighting Games only. Im mainly making this for Street Fighter IV but it can work with other fighters too.

I aint dont my CD yet, but it contains music with that epic feel. It has BGM’s from classic games, cinematic music from movies or shows,etc. whatever fits perfectly with the game.

Heres my list so far of what I think goes perfect with Street Fighter IV and other Fighters:

  1. E.S Posthumus- Pompeii (from the Ryu vs Scorpion video)
  2. 3rd strike elena-beats in my head (mix changes every minute with 3S themes)
  3. 3rd strike dudley-you blow my mind
  4. 3rd-strike intro theme
  5. 3rd strike-Lets Get it on
  6. SF Alpha 3 Dan theme - performance (Nice one)
  7. God of War II intro theme-The end Begins (epic)
  8. Megaman 8 - Bass theme (Thats ill, heres where it gets good)
  9. Megaman X6- Intro stage theme (This goes in PERFECT)
  10. MegamanX5- Ending Credits theme (Lets Waltz, str8 epic)
  11. MegamanX4- Boss Battle theme
  12. DJ quicksilver- Ameno
  13. Metal Gear Solid 3- Snake Eater theme
  14. TMNT tournament fighters SNES- ASKA’s theme
  15. Adventures of Batman and Robin Genesis- Mad Hatters psyco section theme (the part with the jetpack)
  16. Earthworm jim- Buttville(Falling) (Wild 9 version)
  17. Megaman Legends- Escape from the tower (intro stage theme)
  18. Devil may cry 3- Devils never cry
  19. Spiderman and Venom Seperation anxiety - intro theme (I went through hell to get this one lol)
  20. Capcom vs SnK 2- London-This is true Love Makin
  21. Capcom vs Snk 2- New York-Stimulation

I could go on for days but these are my main Epic songs for my fighting games to bring that hype and keep me focused.

What’s wrong with it? I like CvS2 music…even though I know how to edit the soundtrack for that game I haven’t because I think its fine the way it is.

But putting CvS2 music in another game…now I don’t know about that…:confused:

CvS2 had a hot soundtrack. I have it downloaded and listen to it every now and then. And why all the hate on CvS2’s music anyway? I think it may be that some of the tracks like are a bit mellow in places but it’s high energy where it counts.

A large portion of the “hate” that FG music would receive probably has to do with the amount of time spent playing the game. I can tell you that after hearing it for the thousandth time the Character Select music for MvC2 got … repetitive. (“I wanna take you for a ride, bu du bu du, du du bu du, du du duuuuh!”)

Of course, some of it would be personal preference too. CvS2’s tracks have a special place for me personally since that game was the first fighter I truly got into, the game that pulled me from being a casual play-every-once-in-a-while gamer to a fucking fighting game addict.

Well, I like MvC2’s OST as well, except for the Character Select theme (“Take ya for a ride”), but KOF 2001 is pretty bad; I’ll agree with you there.

Guess we just have different tastes in music. Variety is the spice of life, right? :slight_smile:

theres way more… i play differently all the time, i either have really calming music and im really focused, or i got this like real banger on like kiss of death and just raging on the dude, or im real loose and i got my swag on and im like dancing and play at the same time playing like billie jean or something… it really depends, i just try to have fun :smile:

anyone know how to change the music in super street fighter 2 x for matching service for dreamcast? i tried numerrous times ripping the iso, experimenting using the mvc2 custom music guide as a base but keep creating coasters…im tryna put the 3do music in there but fail everytime. help would be GREATLY appreciated.
