Kitty does dreamcast, but only works with “Arcade stick compatible” games.
If a game doesn’t have that logo, don’t count on it to work.
It also lacks VMU support.
Yep that MLG stick should be good. Be sure to get the TE-S harness. You will need to drill 2 small holes to mount an RJ-45 port where the back button hole is.
Damn you don’t know much about fight sticks…yes its fine if you like a sanwa JLF yes everything will work like normal you will have to get a cord made by someone for the dreamcast and with that note your will need to get an rj45 plug put on your usb cable look at this pdf and get familiar http://www.godlikecontrols.com/download/kitty/TEKitty_Install.pdf
Just making sure, you know that the Madcatz TE uses Sanwa parts right?
They are high quality, but are different from parts used in old American arcade machines that you might have grown up with. You cannot put “American” style arcade parts in a TE FYI.
I know about fightsticks and buttons just not familiar with the madcatz ones originally I was going to make one on my own but this is actually a cheaper soloution, so I have some knowledge and I came here to find out what I don’t know Thanks for the info.
I love arcades that Is part of the reason I want a fightstick I was originally going to make a MAME arcade setup but I realized how expensive that was so I settled on this instead. I based my plans on a vewlix cabinet
I’m just curious. Because it would make your project extremely cheap since all you would need is a PS2 PCB and one of the many lagless converters available for them.
