A clear blue one as in #15?
The pearly ones are actually a milky white ball with a light metallic swirl underneath.
I just wanted to try and provide some clarity again on how we’re trying to work this. As we have said before, we are at the mercy of the factory in terms of what becomes available. The best way to visualise this is to think of the ones we have produced so far as samples of what can be achieved if we decided to have a mass run made. We have discovered that we can’t go to them and ask for another two of this and an orange one of that, we can either wait for them to have another selection for us (no telling how long this could take) or we can decide to produce a run.
The problem for us is that being two average joes with day jobs and families, we can’t afford to jump in and order 16 runs of various colours and styles to please everyone, we would probably be looking at one initial run in the beginning. A run consists of 100 balls, in one single colour, one single size, and one single style, eg: 100 white, 35mm pearlescent balls. We would need to start small to be absolutely certain that we could ship that many, it would wipe us out if we produced 500 of these things and could only shift 50. If that was successful then we could go on from there.
In the mean time, I’ll be keeping an eye out for any more selections like these that I can get, but really there is no telling at all when, if, and what these could be.
I’d say then the most logical thing is to do this the way you have been doing it. I don’t think one single color will go and dominate enough to completely sell out so these limited runs with colors you can’t control seems like a good option.
Maybe you could team up with Lizardlick or something if you wanted to make mass runs.
We’re quickly running out of spare, loose units that we can buy up, though, meaning we either have to stop for an indefinite time or pay for a run. Otherwise I’d be happy to carry on as normal.
These will likely be the last batch for some time.

Its a shame about the limit on runs. Maybe you could get in touch with the big sellers, lizard lick, gremlin arcades etc and see if they are interested in stocking them? I’m sure you’d still only be able to offer a limited number of designs but if you focused on a particular style, say pearlesent for example, and did it in a small range of basic colours it could work. I was reading the thread about meshballs in tech talk (http://shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=235828) and RoboKrikit says (3rd post) that meshballs only came about due to a custom order a couple of years ago, so there is precedent.

I’ve given them all a quick test on my stick and I think they are brilliant! Actually I prefer this size to the normal 35mm. Anyway, I hope you guys are pleased with them when they arrive, and a big thanks from Br0ken_Engli5h and me for supporting us.

The swirly pink and blue above the black and white, and the metallic swirly black above the purple swirly. There have been no other requests for those, so if those guys change their minds then absolutely you can have first dibs.
