I’m coming to Uconn for six months for an exchange and I was wondering if some of you play to AE near the campus (not to far lol, I have no means to travel through the state). Six months without a single match against an American player would be sad.

Watching Juicebox has probably been the only exciting/cool thing on the stream. His matches were so fun to watch.
Viper didn’t get any buffs or nerfs to my understanding. Take her out if that sentence. The people that have used her still do. Nobody changed to her overnight. I will admit juicebox is nuts lol

I’m heading to Gaming ETC at around 6pm tonight. I plan on playing Third Strike and MVC2. I’ll play AE is as well because i love playing Yang now.
Vipers top tier because the entire SF4 Vanilla cast aside from Fei, Ken, Viper, Sagat, and Akuma all got nerfed while they stayed the same or improved. Fei is so retarded now, the fact that he can just spam rekkas and chicken wings all day is border line the dumbest shit in the game. You can’t do anything about it but neu jump or guess a reversal, his corner pressure is arguably the best in the game, (thats entirely what this game is about) and all of his special moves are incredibly safe or close to safe from every distance. And the fact that he isw at ADVANTAGE on block? Ugh.
I was beyond impressed with how well Juicebox did. He plays a really nice Juri and did extremely well with his Abel who received the most nerfs out of the SF4 Vanilla cast.Good to see some variety in the top players. Everyone on stream was playing Viper, Gief, Yun, Fei.
Honestly, its just annoying to see the same 3-4 characters at the biggest SF tourney in the world in top 8. It shows that this game clearly, has an incredibly obvious and non negotiable tier list. We are seeing Day ONE impression characters running the event. It’s sad.
So how about that Top 8 guys, Who expected 3 vipers and a seth? Akuma too. 2 Yun’s and a Fei don’t surprise, but a Seth? 3 Vipers? I don’t care what anyone says, Viper may be “top tier” but you actually need execution to play her and get her mind games down. Fei does take some skill with his links but his rekka pressure is intense, if more people played him in super when he was still capable of all of this we’d be complaining back then. Shout outs though to all the players who tried and made it as far as they did. Shout outs too to everyone who actually went and tried instead of staying at home and just complaining about game that they don’t even play while talking about it LIKE they play it.
So how many people are going this weekend to ETC and what days? Im going later tonight and all day Sunday.
