- If you have been warned by a mod, responding by calling them names is the FASTEST way to get banned without your side of the story being heard. If you disagree with the mod then INTELLIGENT discussion via PM is the best way to present your case. PMs or threads like “Fck you, dckhead!” won’t get you far and will get you banned again, so try and work with the mods. We are all reasonable and chances are we?ll help find a way to a happy medium for all parties involved.

He’s also toned it down a lot and hasn’t posted pictures stating “go fuck yourself” and the extent of his posts are to blast games not really people. Disregarding opinions wouldn’t get someone banned. What Cecil is doing will. Especially to a mod.

Ive warned Dont Jump/Mayu/Bobbypigo(whom Im good friends with) and others for name calling and insulting other people(I usually just edit out your post to remove the content in question). That’s the end goal of all involved in this thread is for everyone to get together to play games. I understand not everyone could come on Sunday, but not everyone posted demanding a casual setup to be placed at the venue(I used one of the tvs I was going to use to show the tournament stream so everyone could watch matches) The constant complaining gets old very quick, if there was another venue in CT giving me the same 110% support Im getting at Gaming ETC then I would host tournaments their as well(They raffled off a copy of Fallout New Vegas, due to turnout ordered 2 more Asus VH236H). But right now with Project Failure not hosting tournaments the only two locations having tournaments in CT are Gaming ETC and they are home to casuals whenever people want to go and VGA(Video Game Alliance) they run Halo/Madden/Sometimes MVC3 etc. and I think they rent a ball room in stamford. With that aside anyone up for something this Sunday to Prepare the guys going to EVO? Let me know whether you want casuals or a real tournament
Actually its virtual game arena http://www.east-coast-gaming.com/ but it seems they havent updated in awhile. They usually just have fliers and stuff thrown all over for tournaments
yeah I’ve been trying to get something started for the fighting game community at vga but rob the guy who owns vga never gets back to me and i keep trying to get in contact with him but to no success its starting to piss me off cuz I for one have no way of getting to these events unless I have a ride and if something were to start here in stamford I could attend more often

I’m 90% sure Mayu’s been to more CT tournaments/gatherings than DJ has. So I feel its a bit unfair to say at least DJ comes out and he doesn’t when he definitely does. I think he was just joking/trying to be funny, with that picture and didn’t really mean to offend baccardi. But ya it was definitely over the top.
