No job, almost no money in bank. No 360. So in respect, I’d like to make it out to (what’s the location?) for AE (i’ll play MK for fun/dabble in it, but my focus is AE) if said session would be long enough. If anyone from CT wants to come, I got 4 ish spots in my car, gas money is not required (but appreciated) if you want to park at my house, then drive with me there and back to save yourself gas money. We’re all broke bastards here, but some more than others. /lightheartedtone

Cecil I was just messing with Isaac is all I can’t do much of anything until August. I won’t be there this Wednesday due to theatre, but I probably will next week but after that nope. Theatre is eating my time because we’re getting closer to the show going up.

No I’m doing a summer theatre in my town like I do every year, lots of fun but I think this is my last summer.
Regardless, that issue was nothing neither of you guys could do anything about. Good players know how to adjust to anything during tournament level play. And you can’t say you “had it” because he could have activated X Factor and won. You never know. Had you maybe activated X Factor when you had two characters and left him with Sentinel VS your three when you DHCD into Doom? I’d take a stronger claim to that. Obviously you do not have the mindset of “You never know” because you dismissed the possibility of him potentially winning that game. You need to respect your opponent at all times regardless of how better then you/worse than you they are. You choked when you had the momentum. Plain and simple. Blame what you want…but you still choked. I’m not trying to insult you or be rude. I’m just saying you have to look at your pros and cons in both the game itself and in your mentality while at tournaments/under pressure. By the sound of this post, you need to work on your mentality.
When you play for serious/tournaments/for money you absolutely must respect your opponents ability and not let your emotions get in the way of that. I have lots of tournament experience considering im one of the best Marths in CT for Smash (Melee and Brawl) still to this date (even though i dont play it anymore because i got sick of it) and ive carried that experience/comfort with me to SF. If i went to more events for SF I’m sure i could be better…i just dont care as much anymore because i cant stand AE, MVC3, and where the scene is going in general. All these new games blow. Maybe if 3S gets a solid scene for a little while i’ll play that…but we’ll see.
