October 9th is good, I know a couple NYC players were planning on coming if it was the 9th and MVC3 was run. I don’t really see the point in spreading the tournaments out so far apart, having a consistent event helps people become more consistent and test themselves more often. Takashi cup is great and all, but it doesn’t get the numbers that Gaming ETC gets at least not yet. Stratford overall is just a more accessible location for the majority of players, but as always not everybody will be satisfied regardless of what date is picked.

Plus i agree with Manny, having tourneys on a constant basis is good this way people can “level up” their games so that the tourneys get more fun.

I heard Magento is just as scary, but just with a different play style. That magnet push is probably one if not the best move in ultimate at the moment.

True, but money is an issue for me. Having tournaments back to back will really drain my funds, and I just wouldn’t have time for them all with school and such.

Yeah, but I like many other people here have a job and need to plan ahead if there is actually anything going on. Also if there wasn’t anything being planned then I wanted to stir up some conversation.

and then 2 weeks later anamanaguchi plays toads place in new haven on dec. 2nd :rock:
Aw man, I saw them at UConn last Halloween for the costume concert they held there and it was awesome. Gotta see them again!
