I realize that people have responded to me in both positive in negative ways in the last few pages…I just really do not have the energy to respond to all of that but i will touch upon the posts that i do believe were important.
Rich/godhand-Your post definitely struck me as vital to respond back to. First and foremost, I think you’re a good guy and you are probably one of the CT’s nicest players and i admire and respect that. I have nothing against you/never did. I also was not trying to put you on blast because I know you’re not on here much and really only post every now and then. Even before i started posting often, that was the case. You post important stuff or possible gatherings. We need more of that in this thread instead of trolling/counter trolling and i am fully admitting that. I want to see more casuals/friendly get togethers. I think those are 10x more fun/awesome than tournaments. Playing a billion people, eating food/hanging out, not paying, playing every character/doing whatever because their is nothing on the line? Thats better than a tournament if you ask me. That’s just my 2 cents.
Essex/PJ- I think a lot of people are having difficulty understanding my sense of humor when i look at mvc3 or AE. I’ve been a pretty nice person at GS when I see you, definitely made attempts to play w you, etc. I wouldnt ask YOU specifically (after shutting down Wills casuals) if i didnt think you were cool/fun to play/a good player to learn from. If I was a jerk/rude when we talked than my bad on that. I did not mean to disrespect you at all. I have a bit of dark sense of humor and i basically insult a lot of games but at heart, i still play them and do enjoy them and i admit that 100%. I still play ae and mvc3 often…but i do accept and see the fact that they are dumb and hilarious games. I just don’t think most people who play these games seriously see the other side of the spectrum as to why they are also getting easier/worse. How can people not see/realize that? After seeing MVC3 I do not think the evidence could be any clearer.
Everyone else: Long story short…if i was to say “Hey guys, im hosting a casuals event at my place on xyz” you would all consider showing up? I guess action speaks louder than words. And I do go to events. I’ve been to a good 3-4 of walters casuals/the last tournament he had, 3-4 project failures, casuals every other sat night in New Haven, i play with Evangelio, went to Escos first mvc3 tournament and entered, one of riches casual sessions for SSF4. I go to shit just about as much as the rest of you. It just doesnt seem that way because my typing is greater than my attendance…

and Sf X T actually has some incredible features 4 people on the screen fighting at the same time? thats sick.
training mode online w a friend and then go into battle? Thats awesome.
Pandora kills off your partner but buffs the point character? That sounds fun.
Regardless that i think the controls look dumb it looks like they actually put some time into the features into this game and made it presentable. Good to know they are also listening to peoples demands for characters as well. (Poison, Rolento, etc)
still dont know if i’ll put the $$$ down but SF X T actually might be starting to appeal to me…
OMG VERGIL is gonna be so OP teleporting with the swords around him on the floor. On one of the videos he otg with his laucher O_o.
I think iron fist looks bad ass he looks like he has a style change like gen from sf4.
I will buy SF x T if they reveal Akuma. I will then be scrubby with him in SFxT as I am in AE

Also, I noticed they FINALLY put an online training mode in a game. How many times have you wanted to practice with a friend in training mode over XBL? Needs to be in AE 2012, imo
training mode online is a very good idea. Pair that with a headset and that would be insane.Exchange of ideas/concepts and combo practice/help would be insane. Testing out os’s would be even faster because you could tell your friend what to do on wakeup. So good.
