If I were interested in any of the new games, I’d be absolutely ecstatic that there are so many people 1.willing to play and 2. having casual gatherings all over CT. Back when I was young, the only places you could go to play were arcades like FYE/Smiles/Danbury Mall and you had to rely on the cabinets working, and what games they had. Was nearly impossible to practice for everything in one place/time since most arcades didn’t have everything. And half the time, the controls were broken…no Madcatz or Hori sticks back then! Even on Dreamcast, the best we had were “green goblin” sticks that frequently broke, so playing on consoles wasn’t even viable until after 2002.

People need to STFU about hating the games, arguing about characters and tiers, and either decide to play or NOT to play. If you don’t want to play or say anything productive? Do what I’m doing - get the fuck OUT of SRK and do something else productive with your life. There are only 10 billion other things to do on planet Earth besides Street Fighter, pick one and shut up. I’m not at Gaming Etc. today, but I’m also not in this thread complaining about how much I hate the current games, how nobody shows up to gatherings, why I had such a bad childhood and my mother never loved me, etc.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to get back to playing every video game under the sun. See you all at the tournament on the 18th.

I agree, for me it was either Milford Rec or Pip’s in Madison. Both venues were terrible.

I’ve leveled up A LOT since I came into the CT scene(both in terms of skill and mental stability), and I couldn’t have done it without the people of the community.

I’m not sure If I’ll be able to come to the tourney but If I do end up going its gonna be casual only mad broke these days anyway back to the point if I do go I wanted to gonna bring my 360 and see if anyone wanted to play that MK kollection for xbla and get some MK1 MK2 and MK3 games in anyone want to play those?
