Since I have a little bit more money for Summer Jam now, I’m probably going to enter Third Strike just for fun. I ca’t wait to get my Akuma trashed hahaha

Yang and Akuma. I’ll probably dabble in Dudley too. I really like the way Yang feels in 3s. I like how his game is more about the command grab and command dashes rather than dive kicks. His reset game is really interesting. In AE you can literally see his command dash and his st mk resets are easy to read too. I feel like he has more creativity in 3s. His air TC is more useful too to mistime parries. The only things i hate about him are his lack of health, and damage output without meter. That’s why his reset game looks really important. Been watching some stuff and reading the Yang and Akuma boards though.
Elena looks fun too.
Yang is not about the command grab and command dashes, the dashes being highly punishable and the grab only opening interesting position on th mak/chun series of characters who get hit by st mk. Sa2 Yang is all about ex mantis slash plain and simple, punish, reset and kill with mantis slashes. Sa3 Yang (good versus certain character due to unique juggle properties again) is all about the super which fills pretty quick. Ignoring his dive kick and saying it has purpose in his game is fool hardy due to the type of cross ups you can do with dive kicks in this game. Man I can write essays on this game but I want to keep game pieces out of here

Nah, ive learned that every characters move in every game has a purpose. I’ve noticed that more importantly with Ibuki because well, I need to use them in certain situations. Using ibuki has helped me understand the value of a characters full move set. Yeah, I’ve been using S2 for Yang because it gives him the most meter to play around with. I also like how his punishes/bnb combos are very simple. Akuma and Yangs bnb combos are very similar to AE-ssf4 series so i think it will be a nice easy way to switch and learn the game. I was thinking about Alex, but he doesn’t really interest me.
At the end of the day i’ll probably play like half the cast and learn a bit about all of them just like I did with
Cody, Gen, Ryu, Ken, Evil Ryu, Oni, Dudley, Ibuki, Guile, Rog, T Hawk, Akuma, Yang, Yun, and Seth in SF4. lol.
See King of Fire, this is the only reason people really get annoyed by you. You’re obviously ass at 3s and you’re talking as if you understand how these characters work and the annoying part is you’re wrong so often, yet you never acknowledge it. Not to mention you steal other people’s opinions that were posted here about 5 months before you finally arrive at the same obvious conclusion. The point is, just be more humble in general and people will like you more.

I’m going to want to pick up Dudley, Q, or Remy, since those are the characters I like in 3s. I might dabble in some Yang as well(TheShend has a lot of good vids on 3s). I heard Q has a terrible matchup against Makoto?
Well 3s isn’t Super or even AE. Doesn’t the metagame in 3s revolve around 6 characters?

Nah it was just wasn’t a very balanced game. Which doesn’t make it bad or anything. Just saying.
