OK guys… he did show interest in coming awhile back and in the thread. But he never said he was going to do a match versus rob, at least nothing confirmed. So maybe wanna chill a bit on this. However, if he does want to do it, we can probably have it on stream before real tournament starts.

I’m happy to oblige either way but whole heartedly agree with krypitic. Its all in fun and even if DJ doesn’t want to run it it still would be nice for him to come through and get some games in.

Honestly, I felt like I was more so picked on and degraded more so than being kindly introduced as a person. Frank and Will kept almost snapping at me almost when I would do something wrong in a match. My thoughts were this upon meeting people, “I bet these guys are cool. I really am excited to learn and pick up things and hopefully drop habits.” I wanted more of a “hey man, you should stop doing this. It’s not good because xxxxx” Not spoon fed advice, but just a quick friendly word of advice. Instead I got more of a vibe like “wow, these guys aren’t really being too helpful and willing to show me what im doing wrong in a friendly way…” Granted, obviously none of us were FRIENDS so there is that awkward silence and stuff at first. lol. But I just didnt feel happy playing with these guys. I wasn’t accepted as a new player who could be fun to play with.

I seriously didn’t know about this until Frank told me. Dude, every fucking time I personally said something to you about your game, you have a response to it. I told you why what you were doing wasn’t right. I said to you that “you shouldn’t do this because xyz”. You know what you did? You had a god damn rebuttal to every thing said to you. You just went on explaining why you are doing the dumb shit that you are doing. You don’t listen to anyone. How could someone like that be helped? Why would I want to keep helping someone like that? I said to you that instead of typing novels on forums, why not spend that time actually PLAYING the game, and even that you ignored. I don’t believe someone can really be this delusional. NO ONE in CT can stand you, but everyone else is the problem? If it was only one person bro, then ok. But EVERYONE thinks you’re an ass. Take a look at yourself bro and take responsibility for the situation that you put your own dumb self in. Stay free.

Hey guys, I apologize for how late we are throwing this up but the thread for the next Takashi Cup is finally available http://shoryuken.com/f7/ct-middletown-takashi-cup-4-9-2011-a-269871/ . We are having two tournaments this month, one on the 9th and the other on the 23rd this thread is just for the 9th we will have a separate one up for the 23rd soon. Also because we want to streamline these events and make it as easy as possible for people to make it, I have the dates for both the May and June events giving people plenty of time to take off from work or whatever if they need to. For May our tournament will be the 14th, for June our tournament will be the 18th. I tried to schedule these while avoiding any other major events in the northeast, if I miscalculated feel free to let me know.
