I wish more people of that caliber would keep on coming to play. Playing against RCs and someone with nearly perfect excecution was just too good

why doesn’t anyone play 3s? When I play at regency there is consistanly four or five quarters in the rack… but there’s like 2 people who play 3s at csulb. And why the hell doesn’t the sound work?!

No, marvel is completely dead there now. All I see are random scrubs mashing Mega Mans fireball to chip the computer to death.
Its all about CvS2 here now, with a bit of 3S side action.
And yes, stools would be nice. Standing for 3+ hours at a time kills. Does anybody live on campus, or near enough, that could bring a TV that we could hook up? I can provide a PS2, 2 sticks, and all the Capcom fighting games that we could handle for a night. Or maybe somebody works in the AV department that can check one out? Or knows about an empty classroom with a tv we can use? Lets set something up. Console tourney, woot.

as far as the 3s sound goes, its random. for the most part its off, but sometimes it on every blue moon. i just dont like the whole 50 cents startup price. thats kinda lame. everywhere else, CVS2 and 3s are only 1 quarter.
i do fancy the idea that almost everybody that plays here didnt know how to play cvs2 before the machine was put in here. now we are all semi-decent. thats the way to do things from the ground up. i wanna get a tournament going one of these days. that would be cool…

i stopped by CSULB a while ago when you guys got our (UCIs) machines…the scene was kinda sparse but it’s good to see people posting up in here…

seriously. the first day that CVS2 machine came inside our arcade, maybe one guy knew how to play. he had a 42 win streak or something like that. but noww, theres at least 12 people that have become somewhat decent. and we get better every day. its nice to walk in there at any time and see a 4 quarter deep line. thats dedication
Marvel at CSULB used to be pretty big last semester, but now no one plays. The 1st player joystick is also really really small and just uncomfortable.
