The thing with Patton Vending is that they’re like a little kid…you yell at them until they actually do something, get it done consistently for just under a month and they’ll be back to the shitty ass job they always do. I’ve only been in CSUS for 4 years and they’ve been like that all 4 years I was attending CSUS, and from what I hear it’s been even longer than that. I’m not convinced that Patton Vending will EVER get their acts together. Why?
1.) They’re the only arcade cabinet providers in Sacramento. They service CSUS, Paradise Island and Country Club Lanes. I’m not sure if they service anyone else, but the only other “arcades” (*and I use that term VERY lightly) are ARC (which I believe is serviced by Patton Vending, though not totally sure), Scandia and RVGL (whose maintenance isn’t any better than Patton Vending’s).
2.) Say you do decide to boycott arcades in Sacramento as a protest to Patton Vending; Chances are, you’ve just killed arcade games in Sac (not that it isnt dead ALREADY). They go out of business and you’re shit out of luck.
3.) Complain all you want and contact Patton Vending as much as you want, nothing’s gonna get done. They know they provide shitty service but they dont give a Blanka’s butt hair about you. They make money and people still play their games. You can NOT play their games, but other people still will because Patton Vending has a vicegrip on the Sac arcade scene.
What’s the only solution we got? Someone with hella money to either start an arcade or become a new arcade machine provider in Sac. Neither of which is happening.

So ok, I live in Berkeley but I find myself in Sac every now and then to game it up with a few of my friends with homemade sticks (not the best sticks in the world, but decent nonetheless). I know folks here meet up and what not to game it up at people’s houses and so does Davis.

i might stop by back in sac state to play with you guys again. i know you mvc2 player miss me =] . so give me a time where everyone from sac state is going to be there for mvc2 and i will try my best to come. =]

I dont know man, I switch between playing arcades and at home on a daily basis and there is no lag for me, same with Allen. Popo says theres no lag in cvs and he knows that game like the back of his hand, and if anyone he’d know if he was missing combos or not cause of lag.
Maobei misses his parries in 3S a lot… but I dont think that has anything to do with lag…
