someone write in the logbook that right punch on 2p side of tekken doesn’t work good
“Don’t like it? Don’t play.”
Good thing it took 2 years to figure out…
Those paid-off machines are generating revenue, so this guy can honestly care less about the means or the labor involved in fixing them. All that is certain is that these broken machines are still making money, so why fix something that doesn’t need to be fixed?
Fuck Cvs2, you want to make money? Get Marvel vs. Capcom 2 back in there. The other thing is that people don’t like to pay 50cents for half working machine, some of the really run down machines need to be 25 if they ain’t 100%
Hey all.
I’ve been going through this thread and found my old posts back from '05. Good shit. I miss gaming…
I’ve only played like a few arcade games since the beginning of 2006…
From what I’ve read, the CSUS arcade is more desolate than Charr…
When do people play over there? I may venture over for a few games.
for the record, if you go on google and search for “patton vending ddr” you find threads from ddr-nuts complaining about patton’s lack of customer service and broken parts haha
they’re just all-around a crappy company. all their head can do is bitch about “people making his ‘pile of garbage arcade machine dealership’ [sic] look bad”
oh. every complaint you now find, make sure you mention the words “patton vending” and “arcade” and “machine” and specifically spelling out some other games that are problematic… if you google now for “patton vending machines” you find their sites hitting up top. if your complaints have these keywords, google will pick up higher relevance and place our complaints up higher, perhaps warning all other arcades from picking this crappy company with the garbage customer service
update: haha. if you google “patton vending arcade” the csus SRK posts are the top hits
and even better, the topic blurb you see is: the arcade opens up in old sac? u mean that nickle arcade? … at any rate, the machines in CSUS are owned by Patton Vending, who have been assholes who … and I think my lack of interest in fighting games has been directly related to the amount of effort patton vending has put into their arcade. …
“patton vending cvs” and “patton vending ddr” all show up with our complaints up top : )
“patton vending complaints” shows SRK posts as the #1 hit.
perhaps they’ll consider doing something to fix their customer service policy before bitching and crying about losing reputation
For what it’s worth, I would get behind the request of making Capcom vs SNK 2 cheaper. I know it makes sense to think if you double the price you get twice as much money, but in reality it doesn’t really work that way. Since CvS2 is twice as much to start an continue a game, I just play other games instead for half the price. So instead of making twice as much money, they end up making closer to $0 from me.
The Marvel vs Capcom 2 machine could use some fixing, if anyone is actually reading this. Both joysticks need replacing, but especially the one on the right, the Player 2 side. Also, the leftmost button of the six gameplay buttons on the left/Player 1 side was going in and out the last time I played, and needs to be replaced.
heh. congrats, vas. by mentioned all the bad feedback we get on patton vending, if you search on google for patton vending, SRK’s complaint page shows up as #3. above all of patton vending’s own distribution center info… so great. if you keep posting up all the unreplied negative feedback, pretty soon, any search for patton vending will point at some complaint forum.
if they actually get affected, we’d all have a nice belly laugh. i’m surprised mister dave would actually come so far as to blame this thread for giving his no-customer-service company a bad name. the galls on that guy.
fuck you dave pope
fuck you patton vending
have a nice day
Sounds like you guys are going threw the same thing whimeys is going threw.
your guys’ stuff is halfway decent. ours is jacked.
then we got dave pope telling us we’re making him look back.
the mvc2 2p stick needs some work, it jumps all over the place
Or maybe promoted.
After my epic losing streak to Som’s Sentinel in MvC2, I figured I’d practice some SFA3 to make myself feel better.
1P side of the SF Anniversary Edition machine is weak. Two of the kick buttons don’t work, and it doesn’t like to go up-left, really.
<3 Patton Vending.
allen since you don’t seem you be busy. you should find out all the local management’s names and post it here so if they google it it’ll come up and see all the garbage
There’s an AE cab at Sac State? (Forgive my ignorance, I dont go there…) I should bring some spare buttons/stick and break that cab open from the back
just as a note, keep the comments as clean as possible. if it’s not filled with too many empty flames, then the point we’re making will be more credible.
also. for completion sake, link other forums you frequent who have also issues with patton or if anybody finds other schools/arcades/anything that uses patton and faces these issues. i’m sure by posting enough links to the effect of arcade distributor with terrible customer service, rude technicians, irresponsible business practices who refuse to fix machines to keep paying customers happy will make things interesting : )
or, just link to other forums with those issues the link to this thread on srk with keywords on the link like complaints against terrible arcade service from patton vending
so others have more ammo against patton vending…
the more this issue is spread around and wide-spread, it’s pretty much a guarantee that they’re going to do something positive about it… that’s assuming they’re not going to do something childish like law suits for slander or something… i mean heck, why fix problems when you can hire lawyers for thousands of $$ instead of spending an extra $5 per stick or an extra 2mins reading the suggestions board?
ps: csus had an annual report for 2005-2006. look on page 18 near the middle about how CSUS thinks patton vending is no longer supporting customers’ enjoyment in the game room and that they’re taking the renewal of patton’s services in consideration
it’s funny. you can go and google “patton vending” alongside just about anything that’s a legitimate complaint, and you’d find srk’s link as top
“patton vending customer service” shows srk posts as the top few posts
"patton vending complaints" has srk…
“patton vending ddr” has complaints from ddr forums
"patton vending cost" / “patton vending price” both have srk complaints
heh. if your mission is to have some positive response from these slackers, perhaps it’s going to eventually make a dent
oh yeah. this totally slipped my mind. genji, short-haired asian dude that works behind the counter, mentioned there’s going to be a union meeting to discuss stuff. i wonder if it’s open to the public. i asked him to mention downloading t5dr on the ps3’s as it only costs 20 dollars and you get 5 downloads. maybe we can go blow up patton vending also.
Patton Vending is a great company. Dave Pope has met all our needs. Thank you for your services.
You guys probably seen it already but Stockton is having a tourney may 19 for cvs2, mvc2, and 3s. you guys are more than welcomed to come down and join. :lovin:
Im in love with a girl
Her name:
Ana Karis
Im about to throw in the towel on the mvc2 cabinet. The sticks are garbage and the buttons cut in and out.
And the CvS2 cabinet works perfectly. What the freak.
