madlabs gouki looks a bit skinny there but its still great none the less. i cant get over the gouken one though. do you have any initial sketches before they are turned into what you make them.

Sick dude. Very crisp, very graphic, very stylish, and I’m lovin’ the use of a limited palette. :tup: Two questions: 1) Did you do that entirely digitally? 2) It kinda looks like he’s wearing a suit (like a blazer/jacket + tie); is that intentional?

can i be a bit of a devils advocate here ,

although it is very awesome it doesnt really look hardly like akuma at all.

i get its a style thing but it seems to miss some of the key things that make akuma, akuma.

Shiningsoul: I did the whole thing in photoshop with the pentool. Him looking like he’s wearing a suit isn’t intentional. I just didn’t wanna complicated the area with details from his gi cus that will be a problem in itself to get it to work with the rest of the image designwise.

Mr List: You’re right. I just wanted to make a machine56 piece and it just happen to be Akuma week so I combined the two. What are the key things that make Akuma? I figure the hair, beads, and rips on the sleeves would be enough.

definitely a killer piece d-fist. the eyes look really different from anything i’ve seen you put out. but the strokes are definitely yours. i think what mr. list means about what makes akuma akuma is his ferocious and demonic facial features. haha your akuma looks too pretty i guess? =P awesome in any case.
