you mean his left arm. looks like he just punched himself in the jaw there haha. Looks great though man. Your style is unique. The purple you used for the shadows is a nice touch. I think you could have used a bit more of that for the cast shadow from his hat.

Deon: Nice relaxed pose. 2 nitpicks – (1) head is too big for the rest of his body; (2) perspective on his cap is off. The cap should not extend Yun’s head by much, and should not be able to see so much of the top of his cap.

woof: great job, you’ve captured his pose very nicely and colours are very nicely done. His right upper arm seems too long though.

jz_chu: nice natural pose… it’ll be great when it’s finished! only nitpick is that his back could be a bit more curved seems he seems to be bending slightly forward. Watch the perspective on his feet too.

any suggestions on what kind of brush I should use in PS if I want to get nice blended strokes? I’m trying to expand beyond my feathery style of colouring.
seba_boi: Wow, your stuff is really great especially your Ibuki. The colours look so nice and delicate. Greatness.
Mr.Twelve: I really like your minimalist approach for this challenge, just shows how versatile you are as an artist.
rook: Really great colouring rook, i’m not an expert when it comes to brushes in PS - i always use the basic round ones. But I always lower the opacity if i want a smoother look, not too much otherwise you’ll be painting forever, maybe between 25 and 35%. Other than that, custom brushes - which i’ve never been able to understand. Hope that helps.

That’s wiiiicked deranged - But while I suspect it was a change that was to reflect your own style, his head isn’t exactly shaped right.

Sorry my Yun will be very late, I’m putting it up at the end of the challenge. I got a little too ambitious with it and ruined it with COFFEE while I was inking !!! (grrrrr. :mad: Damn you table !! )
Anyway, I’m going straight to Twelve so I don’t deviate further from the schedule, here’s a Work-in-Progress:

I’m getting the hang of painting finally. I thought it would be really perfect if I did digital painting for Twelve (since he’s easy to colour compared to others plus the whole theme of being “modern” with Twelve and digital painting, I figured it was a perfect match)
Basically at the end of 3S, Twelve IIRC (I’m not sure because the local arcade here has Jap machines) becomes self-aware and I thought it would be a great scene when he steps out and sees all these other synthetic Twelves inside incubation tubes (or Ones, Twos, etc?) around him and what could he be possibly be thinking.
Problems so far: I need to learn how to paint elements like glass and water (for the incubation tube) and reflection. Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated.

I kinda copied Seba boi’s holding the throwing knives between the finger thing. It just looks so much cooler that way!
