I really love this. Brings back so many memories of days gone by. The original Street Fighter II on SNES. In hindsight, Ryu’s ending was a bit crap but fitting, and definitely worth all those long hours.
I actually like that that alot. Makes me think of Ryu in Samurai Jack.

deranged- nice ryun man, pretty solid except for the brush strokes on the shirt. Could be less busy there. Fingers should all point inward also, and not parallel. You kinda did that on his left hand. Thats a dope pose though man. amd props

Kandoken that picture is awesome. Dont worry about the subject matter, remember its just subjective. As far as the techniques and color/highlights, its dead on in my opinion. Proportions all look great etc etc etc. Me like! DZ I gotta admit that yun picture is my favorite one so far even out of the whole challenge. The colors are awesome.
Oh yeah I got a new pic up for Ryu. Its the first thing Ive done with my tablet. This thing kicks ass! Now to just learn how to color… oh yeah dont ask me why I used dark red for the sketch… I dont even know.

My first (pathetic) attempt at coloring! lol
I tried ‘multiply’ instead of removing the whites since it will be impossible for me to delete all because of the pencil textures. All are just solid colors except the bruises and Gill’s hand which I attempted to paint (I actually wanted flames to engulf most of his hands, hence me not putting more detail on pencilling it) but then gave up because I realize I do not know the first thing about painting.
Any tips on coloring esp color separating would be nice. I’m using Photoshop btw.
