Gotta say it again Awesome work everyone! It’s always cool to see heaps of different takes on the characters from my fav ever fighting game.
Chrno: Haha, nope, I’m not going back to doing it manually. Yes, it was nice, but I no longer have any desire to put that extra work and resposibility on myself.
This challenge has kind of grown beyond me and isn’t really my challenge anymore. Just to keep it organised, I’m glad to set it up and get it going, but I don’t want it to be something I have to keep taking care of like the first time.

Chain that Gill, is HOT! I love how you have the purple as the shadows, that’s a really cool scheme you did for him there. Munta, that Gill is hot!

Fendy the way you have his overalls looks like he might be wearing a skirt at first glance. Maybe curve the straps more diagonal.
Crap, and I haven’t done Gill and the others either. I wanted to do a Dudders. ;_; Oh well, there’s still tomorrow (at least) for me.
thanks SFMC, I didnt notice at all when i was doing the sketch. It probably could have helped to seperate the planes of the clothing in color as well but i didnt think about that either.
Man, such awesome stuff from all of you guys. I don’t think I can reply to all… Although I must say that SFMC’s Alex takes the cake (prejudiced cause Alex is my fav character).

In fact, after browsing through some previous pages in this thread, a lot of this stuff is downright amazing. It’s incredible to see that some of this “fanart” actually surpasses the official stuff! Simply too good for words. If I saw a compilation of this artwork in a book store, I’d definitely buy it.
In my case, I’m trying to do a different take on the 3S cast, presenting them in a way they’ve never been seen before, with a postmodern (?) sort of feel. It’s hard for me to describe, but if you’ve ever seen the original The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, you’ll know what I mean.

Bill Wood, Your style looks like a logo or design you’d put on a product. Like “Dudley Mint Chocolates” or “Necro Shrimp flavored chips”. It’s a really cool style. They’d also make cool mobile phone wallpapers.
Thanks for the compliments, CptMunta! And that is actually a very interesting observation, as I’ve always been a huge fan of “consumer art”. I happen to work in the trade, I remember one time my boss showed me a picture of a boss of snail repellent he illustrated a long time ago and I nearly flipped my lid when I saw it. To me it was a thing of beauty, he thought I was out of my mind. And if you’ve ever seen Wacky Packages, those are my favorite!
