Ibuki: simulated Japanese Woodblock print on photoshop. Did I get the text on the stamp right? I copied it from Wikipedia, except made it vertical.
I dunno about woodblock print, but it does look like some traditional art we’d see on a Japanese screen. good job!

Kando good shit as usual. Painter? I think you’d have to talk to someone who knows how to use it effectivelyhaha. I lost my bootleg copy when I restored my hd.
Squint your eyes when you paint kando. Paint the whole picture without zooming in is what I suggest to kep solidity and fresh strokes. Make sure your strokes follow the form. Why do painters step back every once in a while? Easy. To see if it reads from far away and to check if all the shadows, values, etc work. It’s time to up your game kando. You are one of the fastest evolving artist on srk. Until then I will copy and paste this message for crits haha. I’m joking.

the ibuki and sean looks good since you have the lines to define the form already. I think you could work with a higher opacity brush too, the low opacity makes your strokes look really layered and it’s harder to keep the shapes simple when you’re doing that. Watch your highlight for the clothes too, it should be duller since it’s fabric.
