In my HS networking class everyone would play MvC1 or Puzzle Fighter on kawaks. We would rush through our work some we could have the free time to get some matches.
LOL when they cuffed him the game character says something along the lines of “looks like the terrorists win” 
I did not know they could locate you down to the computer station you are using (unless the prankster gave them those details).

The real question is why their school computers can run CS GO + streaming software.
Well it’s 2014 and not all high schools schools are stuck with those '98 iMacs that had oregon trail. Also CS GO has been pretty well optimized from my experience.
What makes you think he’s using a school computer? He could have been on a laptop. I can’t imagine this guy will go through the trouble of getting steam on a public computer.

This shows you how shitty our justice system is when you can dial 3 numbers on a phone and send a team of trained police officers into somebodys house with assault rifle for literally no reason.
Also there was a time in my engineering class in sophmore year, when we had a substitue teacher. We passed around a bootleg copy of Halo: CE on a flash drive and literally the entire class was playing Halo on LAN for about an hour. That was a good time.

Plays Oregon Trail on a only green & white Apple IIe. Shoots 4 bears. 2,000+ pounds of food. Can only take back like 200. And of course the various cussing/etc on the tombstones along the way. This was back in late 80’s/early 90’s too.
Oregon Trail should have let you be a fur trader. I’d have made mad money with all the deer and bear i shot.

More videos courtesy of r/kappa. I looked up some more stories of people getting swatted and wow man, things can go south really quickly. I read about a case where the owner of the house saw someone in his backyard and went out with a shotgun, and another where someone came out with a knife. They could have easily been killed for literally trying to defend their family from an intruder. These people making these calls need to be made into examples and spend a long time in prison, imo. 3 years and a $14k fee is not enough, they’re playing with people’s lives. There was a kid who got caught who apparently swatted 30 people across the world…
