Troll-denjin is almost never a good idea against ken. I’d suggest only ever using it raw if they are stupid enough to play fireballwar against you, and you can buffer it to a 3hit+palm

I would have probably blocked the wall dives more than you did, rather than try to a2a them.

Oh, I see what you are saying. I was probably resetting and fishing for a reversal real quick to punish. I do that a lot. You’re right, Denjin might have ended it if I had done lp palm after the ex or like you said. Noted.
if you are reversal fishing, i’d suggest you use cl.mk instead, as it (should?) push you far away enough to avoid a throw attempt as well.
25 Akuma. So, I win this but the first round is what I need help with. How do you guys deal with Akuma flip grab/palm/kick/crossup etc?
So cr. HP stuff his palm and kick but I don’t remember if it does it with throws. Cr lk duck under all that, and you can stuff it too. Just remember to buffer any of those into something!!!
i suggest using the cr.lk xx lp.palm duckunder until they prove that they’ll use flip kick. akuma’s tend not to use it against gouken too much because counter beats it, while the other options prevail.
I also suggest not running away quite so much when an akuma is feelin it. It tends to just get you swept.

This is something I always struggle with. I can never seem to AA the flip. Besides, it’s in my head now that he just needs to make a small adjustment and he’ll crossover, making cr hp whiff.
Can’t tell you how many times I low profile with Cr.lk xx LP.palm and because he switched sides, I got kongo. It’s not a great moment. You usually just get thrown anyway, but sometimes the kongo will catch him. Is there a work around? Also, if they are trapping you with air fb first like on wake up…I just never really got good at this match up.
Just calm down a bit my friend. We have to be patient in this matchup. If they are fireball fist wait and Kongo, if they do ex air fireball just block, ex tatsu doesn’t work all the time. But if you get desperate you’ll lose faster!!!

Well, for one thing, you need to be hyper-vigilant with the anti-air. If you can’t stop those hk jumpins, then it won’t matter if you punish the hops.
As for the hops, you need to slow down. You are pushing buttons too early.
