I liked this match. I wish I had as much confidence as you displayed here. There was nothing too fancy, just solid play and execution. The only flat note came at the end when he got an EX SRK xx FADC xx Ultra for massive damage…

you gave away some rounds with poor choices to SRK without meter when you already had a decent life lead and no need to risk that. Watch your meter a little closer. Its good to learn about the characters new ultras and it looks like you are basically going to have to safe jump and MAYBE palm whenever rufus has ultra. I guess you could also bait it out possibly with EX tatsu in the air but the animation for rufus seems so long that he’d still hit at least a little and if he does it late you’d probably be eaten cuz the height of the move is pretty good for a full damage anti-air ultra. Then again, maybe you can hit him out of it with EX tatsu? I know in the next match he wash it out of it with ibuki’s kunai. You can’t even FADC your fireball to not get it with the ultra.
In super you might want to consider making your new 1 bar BnB combo to end with EX SRK instead of HP. To me the extra damage and stun (320 vs 290 damage and don’t remember the stun difference right now) i feel is worth the use of one bar especially since the rest of a bnb gains you around half a bar anyway. You messed up or missed a few combo chances, but you obviously know that so no need to beat the horse. Overall though you obviously know the match up… its just a matter of executing at this point… and learning how to adjust once he has that new ultra.

I only got to the see the first match against Elf and Sagat. The one thing I can suggest is to not jump around so much against Fuerte. If your opponent knew what he was doing, he could’ve just picked you off in the air each time. Stay grounded, let him jump around like a Mexican Jumping Bean and punish him for it, FA his slides and make him think twice about dashing all willy-nilly by sending some FB’s to break up his timing.
Against Sagat… I gotta say, that was a sweet comeback!
P.S.: I have saved some of my battlelog matches to the HDD for now and will be converting/uploading them to my youtube page in the near future, but for now it’s impossible as I have moved my 360 to my brand new 46" Samsung LCD TV. My HD PVR is hooked to my pc which is too far away. Maybe this weekend I’ll hook the 360 back temporarily to the PVR and capture the footage.

I thought I read the the last UP, in the UP-UP-3K was NOT and lenient up, meaning you had to go back to neutral and hit only UP, not UP-RIGHT. The way you wrote that states otherwise. Can you confirm.

Why would you doubt what West can do based off what you read? West KNOWS how to do U2 and listed how he does it.
