I’m trying to finish trial 24, and i can do the entire combo, but the c.jab is always blocked after the FADC’d Criminal upper. What is the timing? How quickly should i input the jab after the cancel?
I can think of one reason to FADC from a CU and that is to land a knockdown on your opponent where you can start your frame traps, counterhits etc. Other than that I’d say for safety reasons.

I honestly don’t think there’s any reason to fadc cu. Only thing is to throw it out as a hit confirm and cancel out if you didn’t land one. Still don’t see a useful application for it other than that. The damage scaling is so horrible on that last trial combo its stupid.
Although practicing that last trial over and over really helped my fadc game though.
I can do his fadc combos (ex zonk, hk ruffian) almost flawlessly in matches.
