It’s amazing how low the standards of that place got even though we used to tell them to fix things etc. Just thought I’d share, I was pretty amazed at mshvsf the first tiem I saw it (was 3S before).
Also, the CvS2 joysticks are parallel to the machine, so you pretty much can’t play it the way the buttons are positioned with it. Also, medium kick is for cheaters.
Lol, they probably just read “Third Strike” and put the shit like that. Idk. Seriously, I have alway’s said no arcade can top my local Tilt when it comes to shittyness. Time Crisis is never calibrated, most sticks are broken, and apparently they just put games in random cabinets. Worst part is we actively told them to fix machines, called their home office, etc. They don’t give a fuck. Their answer is to give you your tokens back to play something else. Which is usually broken.
This arcade is located in Killeen, which is right next to Fort Hood, the largest military installation the US has. That’s why it’s up and running still. The CvS2 machine was previously GGXX (which was unplayable), so the think FIGHTING GAME = FIGHTING GAME= SWITCH!
I think the button layout was shooting for a general feeling of unease. Why have a normal or fun gaming experience when you can practice combos on an obtuse triangle filled with cheap buttons. I won’t even comment on the stick that appears to be sinking in quicksand.
