the telecom piece is smooth… literally. i mean the colors are so vibrant and full. you can barely tell it was done in chalk, but more like paint. and the present looks great. very worldly… by that i mean the blue makes me think earth ^^; congrats on the baby

but that pic was drawn in photoshop. It’s just a draft I did for the client to give them an impression. I draw final concepts on a photo I took of concrete. It’s cool when the big wigs listen to you and let you do your thing.
I was forced to draw it on a godawful Glazed tiled surface for the final picture and was moved around so much from mall management and what not so I only had one day and had to rush it. So while they liked the final result I wasn’t all that thrilled with it. See:

I know I miss him to. Haven’t had any really funny stories pop into my head for a bit. Got a few story threads hovering around:
Rock and Duck looking for a place to live.
Duckie not being able to fly/swim because he doesn’t know how it works.
Some stuff with Omar and Duckie’s protest towards Duke’s ducks.
Herbert being laughed out of a bird watchers conference with his Duck findings.
And of course some Brick game stuff.
I’m sure Duckie’s not gone for good. In fact I’m thinking of making a coffee table book to give to clients from big jobs as a thank you.

Everytime I see some of your all out concrete designs I keep thinking of Criss Angel’s Mindfreak title. This is like some kind of Mindfuck. Now matter how many awesome SF pics there are out there running around deviantart, this style is very original.
lol and that’s what happens when you just go off without processing things first ^^; it looks really nice in ACTUAL chalk on actual ground. the abel and seth are killer as well. esp the angle on seth. is he standing on his toes or not? floating?

The Bison pose came from an anatomy figure I was fiddling with. I stopped at that pose and sketched it into my sketchbook. In hindsight I see what you mean

I’m glad you like the “real” version drawn on the ground. I got moved 5 times before drawing this piece. 2 by mall management (I was an obstruction to the pathway apparently ) and 3 by mother nature.
Really had fun with Seth and Abel. Might do a few more if I get the time. Having alot of fun doing everything on the computer at the mo’. Colouring is FUN! Oh and Seth is floating.

Rose is a draft! Not real! I drew her in photoshop to give my client Gamewizz a idea of what I was up to. I start the real one tomorrow. Sorry to mislead any of you.
Sadly the site I’ll be working on will be tiled so it’s going to be a bit of a mission. Might add some more details to it too see how I go.
