i agree
Damn… another one? Well at least the community isn’t stubborn about updating this mame version unlike 64…
I didn’t know that. I thought someone took the 2I version and added him somehow. I don’t know shit about how most of this works:confused:
The TS Shin Akuma differs from the Second Impact one anyways.
Only in the way that he is missing the ground roll. Otherwise he’s the same overpowered character and it’s good he isn’t selectable, because no one would play this game on XBox live.
MAME 0.116u4 is finally here!

Just saw it right now. What’s new?
thanks Dragonfave723
reading/rewriting, how do we get it to work?
Are you talking about the CD emulation? If it is, press the “Select” button to start. Warning: it might take 20-30 minutes to complete, depending on your machine.
can i not play it without cd emulation?
How does this work? Is it just on the first load that you have to do this?
I don’t expect that they would make us wait like 20 minutes every time we want to play.
My JoJo ROM doesn’t work right now either.
Using Nebula; pretty good so far, NG Sean’s stage gives Sean the upper hand, but ovreall control is laggy with me…anyone recommend a good stick/controller to play with on my laptop?
So he was actually in the programming but not usable in any way? Thats odd. I never knew any of that since I skipped 2I from NG and went straight to 3s. Thanks for clearing that up. I need to get 2I now…
Nebula had noticeable input delay when I used it.
So does the new version of MAME suck?
Not really, but because the CD drive is emulated you have to spend 20mins rewriting your game before you load it. Supposedly it’s a 1 time process but it is still annoying. Let’s hope people just stick with U3.1
otherwise you’re looking at ~2 hours just to rewrite all the cps3 games.
wouldnt be worth sticking to u4 if u only have to write it once as theres major clock/speed/graphic writing tweaks == better performance
Just play the NOCD sets…
Unfortunately, both Mame and Nebula still suffer from noticeable input lag. It isn’t quite as bad on Nebula, but it’s still there. Hope they get that sorted out eventually.
