Another bug I noticed with Shin Akuma in 3rd Strike. If you do his Messatsu Goushoryu and miss the opponent, Akuma will freeze when doing the first uppercut for a few seconds before unfreezing and finishing off the rest of the super.

I HATE how MAME has all these stupid releases. It’s a huge pain in the ass for me, cuz my Kaillera client is all messed up.

New version has a longer name which prevents you from entering some Kaillera servers and emulation of the CPS3 SCSI CD-ROM.

Yeah, that would work. But Supraclient have separate problems: stuttering, crashes after a few matches in SF3NG (and only in SF3NG)…
Ok, well since we’re on the topic of Kaillera, and my Kaillera Client thread went no where fast (just like the majority of my question threads), let’s decide on a kaillera client. Here’s my 2 cents:
Kaillera Anti3d
This is what I generally use, just because it seems to be the most simple. Although, it lacks features (think it’s just Kaillera with a different server). I suppose some people can’t get it to work with 3.1 either, that’s a down side.
SupraClient
One of the more recently updated Kaillera clients. It has the uncanny ability to get both the Kaillera server list and the Anti3d server list. Although, only Anti3d seems to work (and only half the time, for me atleast). For now, this is what I’m using.
Just 0.116u3.1. Some servers won’t allow long internal emulator names. The addition of the .1 just made the whole name too long for some servers.

Floating Shin Akuma…
These Shin Akuma glitches are really fun btw. The freezing in the middle of the super is hilarious. Gill just walked into a corner while I was frozen and then proceeded to obliterate me after I finished the move. He might as well be SF3 Dan.
**The glitches are avoidable.
- If you use GouShoRyu, make sure you try to combo it, it’s the best way to avoid if missing so it won’t giltch most likely.
- Don’t use the KICK super art, it freezes Shin Akuma entirely also…
- Messatsu-GouHadou is glitch free for me.
- Air hurricane kicks have a glitch on my end only? So I don’t use them.
- Fighting a CPU Shin Akuma doesn’t seem to be affected by the glitches
- ShunGokuSatsu has a 1 frame glitch but it’s nothing.

I was turning on the cheats before I put coins in, and it went into the demo… When I untabbed I was like “wtf”. Watching CPU Akuma Raging Demon CPU Gill on Shin Akuma’s stage was awesome. He didn’t glitch at all.
I think he was finished, he doesn’t use any unfinished moves, and we weren’t ever supposed to play as him.
Yeah… like I said, CPU Shin Akuma isn’t affected by glitches…
