my experience with emulators is that it really depends. But taking a wild guess here, if you can run nullDC you should have more than enough to run cps3 emu.
Does anyone have a link to a ps2 to pc converter that works well with the hrap2?
I went to radio shack after I got this cps3 working but the converter I got sucks. It doesn’t lag but the proplem is inputting more then 1 button and I can’t buffer. Not even short short super comes out =(
So if someone has any kind of link please help!
^ mine doesnt even hit aiagonals.
and btw i think GOOD setting gives better ping.

I’m pushing a 1.7 GHZ, 712 MB RAM and standard Intel Graphics card Laptop. This is an FYI for those asking about specs. It runs good. A bit of unnoticibles. My gripe is the foreground changes for supers in any game: It seems to do an indigo color switch. Looks cool, but I’d have to say it’s a glitch. Luckily, this is a beta.

Circuit City has a Sector 7 converter the works for PSX/PS1/PS2-to-PC playing. It’s near $19 CDN in total, and it has no problems with a T5 unmodded HORI Arcade Stick. I haven’t tried the Hori on the CPS 3 emulator Nebula as of yet, but the input is near perfect on a MAME Emulator running CPS 2s.
I am using the Elecom JC-PS101 adapters that I got a while ago for PS3 Tekken and they work perfectly with both regular PS2 pads and my HRAP2. No special config needed, just download drivers, map buttons and play.
Also, check this out–
I found a VERY useful program that can make that nasty converter lag disappear.
Turns out, the default speed of USB devices in windows is clocked at 125hz, which translates to a 8ms delay no matter what adapter you’re using.
However, you can hack your USB drivers to change that rate to 500hz (2ms) or 1000hz (1ms). If you set it to 1000mhz, the timing for the CPS3 Emulator will feel the same as arcade.

If that doesn’t work, try:
With all the talk of online play, does the CPS3 emulator (not using MAME currently) support offline vs. play?
wow repped.
holy jeez. this guy’s a pro.
CPS3 Tile Compression Part 3

I still think sean’s NG stage is one of the best stages ever in a fighting game.
Is this essentially 100% safe? I’m assuming so…
is there an estimate on when the emulation may be better, in terms of graphics?
You know once it’s online and lagless Shoryuken should set set up some online tourneys.
lagless?
dude, super turbo isn’t even lagless
sweetness, i wish haze was SFIII 3RD strike fanatic, strictly speaking cps3 should be emulated as a whole but jeez who plays new generation when u got 3rd strike.
online is laggy for me, at 15ms
some one tell me WHY WHY WHY WHY
- Did you switch to ‘Excellent’?
- Is your opponent laggy?
- Is your opponent desynching?
- Does your opponent have a slower computer?
- Is your computer slow?
New Generation is the shit.
I love that game, as well as second impact. Im glad CPS3 is finally seeing the light. And all the people who doubted this breakthrough happening can STFU now. I doubt I will get any competition for NG/2I. I have 3s for PS2 so I am not really hyped for 3s as much as the first two titles.
Oh…it’s been a long time since I played SF3. Are the Shadows normal? Or is that a negative?
Poonage, just want to say thanks for that advice. My joystick is working like if Gill had a custom made stick. REVIVE!!!
Anyone is having a great experience with cps3 test and a slow-downed one with mame? I dont know why mame is so bad here…
