Yeah, I just find it funny how Capcom are planning 3S for net play and now people are working on CPS-III net play… Kind of crazy when you think about it…
I’m getting an error with the stand alone emu saying “unable to initalise video subsystem.” Does anyone know what this means?
Now that CPS3 has been cracked, It’s great news and all, but what I’m wondering now is how soon can we start see CPS3 carts being revived and phoenixed.
If my memory serves correct, it took Razoola around a year or two after CPS2 was emulated to release his phoenix chip, so I’m wondering how far are we from that happening to CPS3?
I have 3 dead 3rd Strike carts and I’m hoping for those bad boys to see the light of day once more.

kaillera is good if you play with people on private servers on LAN/excellent and all, but i dont know anyone in the uk who does that. with poporu i can play americans lag-free :I

My mame reads all my other games excpet the cps-3 ones. ( I’m using the u2 version ).

Damn, the mame one keeps skipping and is running hella slow on my comp. Guess my computer is too crappy to run cps3 on mame, gotta wait for some speedhacked one or something =(

Mame lists a ton of dipswitches, I hope someone finds their use. If the correct combination of dipswitches makes the emu show 3s hitboxes I’ll be in heaven
what’s the best emulator for sf3 with kaillera?
they’re all in beta stage, emulation is not accurate (too fast, unconsistent speed, glicthes, occasional crashes.). I wouldn’t recoomend playing it on kaillera as it is now unless you’re not having competition for like a year and you’re desperate to play someone
No clue about PS3, but CPS3 works on Linux already. You just need to compile the SDLMAME source code and use Haze’s updated CPS3 drivers. It ran well on my machine using Ubuntu.
Sucks I can’t get the DOA4 stick recognized by these new mames. Urien unblockables going to be annoying as heck and maybe even impossible with the keyboard buffer depending on which side i’m facing. Guess I’ll be patieent.
There are workarounds for controllers that aren’t being recognized. I’m just way of saying now, lol.
Seems like the race is on NullDC versus CPS3 emulators, the first to kaillera wins. (well the first there with a fully playable product.)
