Those $1,200 COVID-19 bucks were great but it is looking like it is the only help we are gonna get from the gov. They got no problem bending over for those big corporations and lining their pockets with cash. But when the 99% that keeps the economy running needs help? You get aid once and then we expect you to go out there, risk getting sick or die. Or both. We don’t care. We are fine with either as long as the economy gets back up and running. 65,000 deaths and counting is a fine price to pay to take even the faintest of chances of gettings things back to normal.

The fucked up part is I remember reading (in this thread somewhere) that the deaths each year from the flu were based on models/highly-educated guesses, but CoVid really DID kill as many people as it has.
Crazy thing is CoVid has likely killed almost double the official numbers.

Best thing I’d say to do would have a virtual BBQ. Video conference it up. Not quite the same, but the best compromise you can get, IMO.
A couple weeks back it was my nephew’s birthday. I haven’t hung out with my sister’s family in like 6 weeks. Instead of having a full on family gathering, I just met them outside near their house, gave my nephew his birthday gift, and I caught up with them while I stood 10 feet away from them. A bit solemn I can’t physically interact with my nephews and family anymore right now, but it was still great to see them from a distance. lol. Hope things work out on your end.

Even $1200 for 3 months extendable for another 3 depending on the state of the pandemic would be very helpful and would guarantee some stability and help out the ones that need a bailout the most.
(This is similar to what’s happening here.)
Assuming both sides try to reach a middle ground, that’s likely to be the deal.
